it'd be a cute filler cosmetic if it weren't animated, but as it stands this is WAY too distracting

i get that the gimmick is the main point of this hat but i cant see myself using this in any loadout

It's a fun idea, but a full-blown moving hat would just be too distracting in-game. I respect the creativity, though!

Oh no I've done over 100 items so far, this is literally the best I can do with 1400 triangles as every animation frame is a separate model, so 13 frames. 1400/13, it gives me arround 100 tris to do the entire hat on each frame. It is just a funny proof of concept.

this is a good idea, but it is obvious that it is your "my first workshop item" sort of submission. spend time improving on this alpha version of the item and it might be accepted someday.

No thanks. Pretty low poly and just doesn't fit. This is a great idea with decent execution, but not for TF2.
