Only fortress left and since this has been a problem since last year I'm guessing this won't get fixed.

Currently, The only design I can use for the fortress is the "Fortress Left". It makes it basically pointless to have the mod. That said, it does still look really cool to have a starbase flying around.

See examples of a combat moon or planet, they move around the system without any problems and attack your station. Several times I had this when I went through an event or excavation. The moon suddenly activated and attacked me. Dig into the files, maybe you'll find something on how to activate your station so that it moves through the system.

Is it possible to make this mobile fortress move independently through the system towards the enemy, and not be tied to a star. Like a battle moon or a dragon. If possible, then it will be truly mobile. Of course, in the form of a gigastructure

I only ever see the "Fortress Left Side" module, this could be an incompatibility with NSC I understand. Just want to make sure I am not missing a step in the designer.

@Pvenvma, I know the pain. The lack of good documentation makes it laborious to try and figure out how to get the desired effect. Reverse engineering some good mods has helped allot though.

i swear, star base modding is entirely different from anything else. last i was playing, i was working on my own mod for editing vanilla star base turrets and it just... made no sense. ships? easy. starbases? the entity for it so MOODY.

@Pnevma I think I will just use another mesh. Perhaps the mothership type of mesh, and make it larger. Should look good enough.

@darkmourne, i really the concept of this mod but would it be possible to make a version that DOESN'T double up on the original entity? like, fortress is essentially TWO fortresses combined. it would be great if it was just the one, the original entity from the base game as is

@Darkmourne Is it possible to reduce the idea down to a single model? Because right now, it basically has 3 seperate citadels clipping into eachother, which looks very silly. Either that, or make two of the models transparent? So it doesn't look as bad.

Thank you for all your hard work, I'm still enjoying the Mod, it would just be a nice Aethetic change.

@Arlon Planets and Habitats are essentially the same. Currently that mechanic is in no ways supported. Perhaps it will in an upcoming DLC.

@Commander Flame Very good question. After some investigation looks like it does. Its using allot of Juggernaut coding. For example Juggernaut Formation and etc.

And, @Soul Reaper, due to it being 64, you can (sometimes) fit 2 of these in one fleet, and even squeeze a titan in to boot! A titan with the nano-bot regen thing, and these... amazing combo!

@soul reaper was this an older save game? This should work with a new save game, as long as you researched the Battleships tech and then the Mobile Fortress tech.
More context can help me debug :)
