The fluid dynamics/aerodynamics changed a LOT between 1.2 and 1.3 so any plane built in 1.2 or earlier versions will struggle. All my planes that I've converted to 1.3 has 1.3 in the name so make sure you look for that.
Hope the 1.3 version works better for you. :)

This is an old version suitable for version 1.2 of the game, you should use the version for 1.3 (and above) found here:
