As I haven't had it happen to me I cant really think of what might be causing it outside of that, sorry.
Only thing I can think of is check the alpha layer is the same.
It's obviously a somewhat flawed system or the stickers would be visible on every weapon too.
I'm going to be completely honest, I forgot about this war paint. I didn't even know Version 2 was in development. If you're wondering why I'm just now commenting on this, it's 'cause I haven't even played TF2 in several months (been busy 'cause of Uni.) and only learned about it from watching Zesty's Scream Fortress XIV Review. When I saw it pop up in the video, I thought to myself, "Hey, wait a minute. Isn't that that war paint I commented on a while ago?" Turns out, it was. And, oh man, I was not prepared for it.
I’m creating a warpaint, using ghoul blaster as a base. There seems to be some issues related to the stickers, where the replacements I’ve made cause they weapon models to appear entirely black, entirely yellow, or covered in very grainy rainbow coloured lines. I’ve used the same image settings that your stickers had (from what I can see in vtfedit, it was clamp s, clamp t and 8 bit alpha) but there might be something else I’m missing. The textures themselves also aren’t exporting from vtfedit with 8 bit alpha applied, even if the box is ticked. I doubt that problem is related to your warpaint in any way, but I figured it was worth asking in case you’d had a similar problem.
you made something really good, especially with the wears, i hope to see more of your stuff get added
I would love to have had it on most weapons medigun especially.
If not I will send another email, I don't want everyone to be disappointed with ghoul blaster.
Seems they didnt correctly implement it as I had it set up.
