They hired people to quality check all of the sprites and mechanics. That definitely wouldn't have passed if it was a 'bad job'.

It is not useless. It is there because whoever made the sprite made it look like the bag was wrapped multiple times, hence why there is another string.

I'll find all the texture packs that change treasure bags to something similar enough to vanilla that I can improve it in the same way as I improved the vanilla treasure bags.
