- right now I'm not motivated to be modding rimworld, however I am planning to return and update everything, don't worry! My mods aren't abandoned, I just got very very burnt out from 1.5 and only recently truly realised it. I will be back. <3

Hrm had a Sephyr spawn with ork xenotype from (LTS)Xenotech mod, caused an error with the body type of hulk from the genes as sephyr can only be female body type I suppose. Quick character editor fix.

Those errors should be harmful, as it's looking for offsets that don't exist because you don't have Biotech. For now, ignore them, and I'll look into making some sort of conditional patch, but it'll be a bit before I get one done.

I'm quite sure that's just errors because this isn't a Biotech mod so there's technically no "Age states" baby/child etc. :P

I have a lot of red alerts with this race and with Erin's Azaphrae race when I enter the menu log, I played with them on 1.3 I really like your work, but I'm a little worried there are a couple of red scrolls, is that normal?

Okay it may be a Graphics Settings+ issue, the clarity of the textures improves a lot when I remove it but they still look like default 128px textures lol I love RimWorld updates... anyway I'm tired of this and just wanna play the game so I'll let you alone now and maybe pester GS+ later. :steamsalty:

That's what I mean, I've removed them. I've checked the sephyr folders to make sure it has deleted them which it has because it doesn't convert the images it just creates copies and when Graphics Settings detects the DDS files it uses those instead of the PNG/JPG images. So with no DDS textures for Graphics Settings to use it should be using the PNG images.

Maybe its load order but it says on Graphics Settings to load it before any HAR/VEF kind of things but when I sort with RimPy it puts it under them all so I really DON'T know what to think about that.

@FlareFluffsune - I have no idea, my dude. :( It looks completely fine on my end and I'm running that same graphics settings mod. The only difference is I didn't convert the textures to .DDS.

And I haven't touched any settings aside texture compression and turned that off so ALL settings are still default.

Honestly something fucky must be going on with my things. So I've deleted all DDS textures, (all from every single mod,) deleted all configs, ran the game without mods to generate new config files, then with only graphics settings, camera+ and sephyr (+requisite mods) and they actually look WORSE. I'm so confused.

@FlareFluffsune - It's the only thing I can think of. They look perfectly fine in my own game and I use Graphics+ Camera+, and I use the RimPy mod manager, however I don't convert my textures

AFAIK its supposed to convert the file to a texture file Graphics Settings+ can use to decrease VRAM usage and load times at the same resolution as the original file but I'll try without the DDS textures and see what happens.

Maybe you could provide some feedback for me. I'm running Sephyr with Graphics Settings+, I've disabled texture compression and I'm using DDS textures provided by the texture converter from RimPy but for some reason they still show up in the game as heavily blurred and pixillated textures in game like blown up 32x32 sprites. Am I doing something wrong here? And I basically nuked my mods folder yesterday and redownloaded everything so I should have all of the latest updates from wherever. I'm still running 1.3 because mods.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, what Facial Animations are you talking about? I see it mentioned down here in the comments but in the FAQ too. Trying to search for it and I can't find it. I was hoping it might work better than the [NL] Facial Animation.

I love all of these race mods that only add a race without all the bloat. Having a million different production buildings is not fun. Thanks again Erin!
