Just FYI, the issue has been solved for me. It is a steam workshop issue. It's automatically fixed for me.

My side works just fine I'm not sure what is wrong but here is an external link to the mod, just extract it to your mods folder at InstallDrive\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods you can use steam to open the install folder too https://limewire.com/d/VJwVZ#MhdjowtO1X

I don't know why, but my side it's still showing the tag to 1.5. I already unsubscribed it and the re-subscribe. And I clearly saw steam was updating after this operation. Maybe it's a workshop issue and will go away soon? Thank you so much for your quick response!

Thank you for updating it! It is not tagged as 1.6 in RimSort and my local About.xml is missing that <li>1.6</li> line. Do you mind taking a look at it and see whether that's updated?

@Tirith Amar Sorry it's been forever since a reply if you ever see this. I'm just a homebrew modder self-taught, and this seems out of my scope of skill for now. I recommend using this Inclusion and Exclusion mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2033828736 , I believe it should allow you to prevent the specified pawns from being assigned to zones via my mod but you will still need to manually assign them a specific zone or just let them stay in whatever zone they are in at the time.

It would be amazing if we could add an exception case. Like do all of the pawns except these two marked ones.

Would be useful to have my noncombatant pawns not be forced to stay in the hospital killbox and killbox food room, or my paramedic mechs not be zoned like all the other mechs.

I just changed the csproj file, update code to 1.5, compile and copy to a new 1.5 folder, things like that), I wish to share with you so you can use it as a reference and save your time.

Please don't push it, I just wish to help to save your time.

I just tested, it won't work directly. Basically the AreaRestriction property is renamed to AreaRestrictionInPawnCurrentMap (I'm not sure this is valid in all times, but it compiled and worked initially).

Also may need to change the directory structure

@Let's Crash A tag probably won't work, but needs only minor fixes. I remembered I easily fixed the compilation issue with a few lines of changing. I'll tested it out again on 1.5 in 1 hour and tell you about it :-). Thanks for the mod! It's so helpful!

@Pos 5 is it not working properly? I'm a lil bit tied up in life again, probably just needs the 1.5 tag give it a try anyways and see if it still works despite what RimWorld says about versions.

@Gavril I'm playing RimWorld again and took a look. This inclusion mod is pretty intense.. I would have to reverse engineer whatever he did first then do a full rewrite on most of the code I got from Fluffy's Animal Tab. I can probably handle it, but I just learn for my own fun so it might be awhile if at all. I have a folder full of crap I've made but not released...

Would it be difficult to add compatibility with Area Inclusion and Exclusion 1.4 ? They both work together with no errors (as far as I can tell), but you can't mass assign.

I have not told RimPy about this mod, I don't talk much. However, as a bonus I'm fairly certain load order doesn't matter, I have mine loading in just after some mods for more UI buttons.

I also used a guide to proper load order once, resulting in rejumbling all of the mods and maybe a minor 5 fps improvement? Mod order usually doesn't matter until it visibly breaks something, then just switch their order. This mod is pretty simple, it should run fine no matter where you put it :steamthumbsup:

You could get a screenshot by recording in OBS, then taking a screenshot of that in VLC or similar.

However, I have downloaded the mod and am running it with this mod only and I am not receiving any errors thus far; maybe your logs would help. Could be a third mod causing incompatibilities. The log will tell all!

I dunno about this one boss. I'm looking at the code to the Children mod.. And I'm scared, I'm just a basic b**** modder who makes crap for myself that sounds fun, this Children code is honestly a mess... No offense to the author... I'll give it my best but.. the mod author made a whole new zone and I'm a bit lost here..

Seems to have a conflict with "Children, school and learning" and its addition of a 'school' type in the tab (sleep,work,rec,anything,school) - when I load this in and go to the menu, your options arent there and 'Children..' pops tons of errors in debug log. Would you like a copy of the log for this ?
