see I did that, and the custom folders were about HL2 where they tell you, put it into the hl2 folder within the half life 2 folder from steam apps and then do the rest but entropy zero 2 doesn't do the same I guess

You need to make separate folder for your stuff with any name you want.
Example: "custom/MyRetexture/materials/models/police".

For more info, you can just google about custom folder and read the workshop upload steam guide for E:Z2.

actually coming back here to ask for some help with the custom folder, so first which folder do i put the custom folder in, currently I put it in the lower case entropyzero2 folder where it has all of entropy zero 2's stuff. However its not working, I have it custom/materials/model/police/the vtf but the game doesn't it read it correctly and says oooh t doesn't work you should look at the readme.txt file but there is none. So I was wondering how you did it

I used simple custom folder to test stuff out without using vpks converting tools.
Currently, it's not recommended to use VPKs for E:Z2.
Just use custom folder instead.

Hey so, uh how did you replace the texture for the elite, what I did was take the vpk file, extract it into a regular file, used vmtexplorer or editor whatever the name is, use the cache to grab the regular cop texture and edit in the actual Elite texture onto the image while keeping in the regular cop mask look and colors and edited the color to be the elite eye color, but now i need to repackage it into a whole vpk, which the problem is, vpk.exe can't make do it due to the size being too large, now while i was able to make them into a vpk using Source Multi Tool, it seperated it out into 3 vpks files, 0, 1 and 2. So while im looking for a way to combine all 3 500 mb files, I'm gonna ask you how you did it because I wanted to try my hand at what you did and see how it comes out

I like this one better, the old one also looked like it was obviously an elite civil protection unit, but only because of the red glowing eyes; but they missed a few things too.

Yeah. The old one looks like he smeared MacDonald's ketchup sashay onto his uniform. I'm glad that my man learned how to eat his fries.
