ok i think i should have fixed the problems that was stopping the follow teleport triggering, it was caused by a warband follower army dying then moving that warbands leader bricking the script and breaking it for the rest of the campaign, it will still happen in any campaign it was happening in before unless you reload the save before it started happening.

you have some kind of mod conflict, i just tested it, if its completely gone im guessing something broke all your scripts

Hey there, just want to add my own report of the instant-teleporting not working after about 30-40 turns or so. Have to keep manually unassigning and reassigning vassals to keep them close, but this seems to eventually cause bugs that prevent an army from being assigned, OR, prevent one of your own armies from being given a vassal's army. It's weird and inconsistent.

Otherwise , ace mod, campaigns are SO different when you can involve allies directly in your warplans. makes for some epic clashes on the regular.

After 40 rounds, allied troops no longer follow my troops (they don't teleport near my troops, they stay where they are and don't move until I deactivate them). Besides, I can't create more than one battle group. I had two troops and four Allies, and I formed a battle group for the first, and summoned two Allies to follow him. When I set up a battle group for the second unit, I pressed the button and suddenly summoned three Allies (two of which were supposed to follow my other unit).

I know for me it targets one of my secondary armies sometimes and says can't form a warband with that army. Other times it works like intended and a vassal army can be summoned

either because they werent in range (if you have the MCT you can change the range), or they werent considered a viable target usually because they arent considered an ally or vassal anymore, though it could also be a bug, what were the conditions?

Nah its not consistent, havnt really run into any problems with my current playthrough, and im around turn 250. Good luck on fixing this man, hope its not too much of a pain in the ass

ok ive used both those mods but never had this problem cause my games dont go that long, and tbh i have no idea what could be causing that, i can already tell this is gunna be a pain to solve

Same but in my case I don't have any diplomatic mods aside from "Fudging Vassals", which is unlikely to cause conflict with this mod. They just stop following me at turn 70-90, and then in turn 90-100 I can't even form any warband for anyone BUT newly recruited lords for some reason.

i think the problem is with the "all diplomatic options" mod or whatever it is called, currently playing kislev and ive been able to make the empire my vassal through diplomacy, and it works just fine

No dont think so, i did get a problem where i could no longer form a warband, but that was fixed after i increased the number of available warbainds per lord. But when it happened it just displays the normal message when i want to form a warband.

Im just rocking with it rn, im on turn 91. Not sure what turn it started, im playing as vampire coast, my vassals were calethor and eataine. I was using the diplomatic options mod in order to subjugate them, but it worked just fine in the beginning. I undid and redid the warband, but it wouldnt work.

i just tested it and it still works for me, so my guess is mod conflict or something very specific, can you give more details? who were you playing, who was your vassal, did it fix itself if you undid and redid the warband, what turn did it happen etc

@redfog- golfag maneater cant make alliances, but he can temporarily kind of like be a part of his employers faction. but since youre not technically allied, you cant call their army and such.

you have a mod conflict, im guessing one of your mods is breaking all scripts, i tested it with just this on the new patch and it works fine

@Think Critically Do you use other mods in addition to this one ? We tested it a while back with Redfog to test for desyncs after my multiplayer update and everything was working fine as far as we could tell, so I'm unsure why it would change now

@StuffzCrimson I'll have to look through the API if there's something that'd allow to do that, but I don't have a lot of free time nowaday and I'm not really playing Total War so I don't know when I'll have the time to look that up. In the meantime, my advice would be to stop your move at the edge of the enemy's range then attack (in the case of cities, I think it should work fine. Otherwise just encircle it and the allied army should move, then you can proceed with the siege)

@Lurivar, is there a way for the warband army to immediately be right next to my main army when it attacks an enemy army? The warband armies dont show up to reinforce because they are not in the surrounding area unless the army move command completes

When I play in multiplayer, I desync very often when starting battles with a warband when I don't otherwise desync. Not sure if fixable, just wanted to let you know.

Sorry it took me so long, the issue mentioned by @Stay Ghoul should be fixed. If an army is destroyed, its following warband will be freed on the next turn.

@StuffzCrimson If you still have the issue you first mentioned, feel free to reach out to me. I don't have it on my side though

Hi, I kept getting the red x warning from the context viewer letting me know LUA failed. After going through systematically disabling my mods, the red x warning went away after disabling "Call Allied Warband". Any chance could I share with you some sort of log file to see why the mod may be causing something? All other mods enabled and no error for me

have you checked the MCT options, the default options dont let you get a follower until level 5 so on a new play through it wont work until you get to level 5 (or change the MCT options)
