Yeah, worked perfectly fine for me. Hell, I don't see why it wouldn't.
now, when I go back to my main base after few days trip, one of the two freezers has his power off, and food in it is now stale or rotten
also, some lights are not working, and turning off and on again the generator fixes the problem
I disabled the mod 2 weeks ago, didn't happen since then
Any idea of the possible reasons ?
I tried moving and reconnecting the gen, uninstalling and reinstalling both freezers, still same problem
thanks
Ideally, pumps should only really use power while they're being used, but being able to shut them off would still be miles better than what we have.
Can't believe how many essential things the devs never bothered to implement into the game. It's like they never tested the game without debug mode on.
As I mentioned in the last patch note, I included some checks suggested by @theleo to address the null pointer issue. Since I didn’t have additional details on how the issue was triggered, I assumed it was a desync problem or a cell loading failure. For the connect/disconnect option to appear in the context menu, there must be an object of type fridge/fridge_off/freezer/freezer_off at that position. The server code also ran as expected, and the issue occurred only during client-side replication, where the pointer was null.
In response to the suggestions I mentioned earlier, I didn’t just want to mask the issue. Therefore, I’ve added some text logs.
nope. shows up just fine.
as far as servers are concerned, you need to add Mod ID and Workshop ID in the servers ini file, restart the server and it should be enabled
turning off lights and appliances in random houses after lotting doesnt do a thing.
loss of map-wide electricity is based on X amount of days/time (as per sandbox settings) and not on X amount of electricity used. having said that, i just realized how useful this mod is.
unplugging unused fridges to save generator fuel :)"
ah i didnt know :) it just felt like that was the case :)

probably to save on some power / fuel usage - bit like in real life with all the energy prices going up :)
To make it work mid-game try:
* "Load" then on load screen hit
* "More" then
* "choose mods".
* Turn them on, specifically on this screen, then hit
* "play" on the bottom right.
really nice mod :) Could you also add unplugging of Popsicle fridges?
Keep up the great work !
here I explain more about my case
