iirc it was because the bear was priced for the DE campaign and it's value wasn't really in line with the rest of the Kislevite roster.

Naah, it should be straight to the point, only alter the recruitment prices and impose caps... by the way, on a curiosity note, why did you altered the bear price in the main_units table, but the raptors you left untouched?

Thanks! I will bring the mod back eventually, it's just that right now, I'm pretty low on time and motivation. The current state of the game doesn't really fill me with enthusiasm.

It sucks how every time there's a "update" for the game, that breaks the databases for mods. Also people asking for the banners all the time, lol But if that serves as a consolation, I do think your banners were one of the best mods in the workshop, it was really good (hence why the players miss them so much)

I'm supposed to yeah. I have finished Kislev already, but I need to update a lot of textures and databases that got broken by the TWW3 changes, and ngl, I don't have much motivations and time these days. But I'll try my best to have the mod up and running for the chaos dwarf dlc.

This wyvern idea would disrupt the game balance way too much, especially if the AI spams wyverns.
Greenskins for a reason do not have any reliably recruit-able air units, just like the Empire has no recruit-able air units (not counting lord mounts).
One thing is to give a faction access to a unit type it can normally get in abundance, but a completely different impact is to give a faction access to a unit type (air monster) that it can not at all choose to recruit at will.

Well the lore states that wyverns are raised and trained by orcs, and Orc characters and the legendary lord Azhag have trained wyverns in game to ride, which obey them perfectly in game. Feral wyverns are smaller and not completely tame beasts that rampage, and it is perfect that they already rampage in game. They are beasts belonging to the greenskins and they are a working and finished unit. Would be a shame not to use it. There was a small mod for this is wh2 which sadly has not been converted.

fink the only reason why the greenskins can't recruit wyverns norm is cause dey fly. and they only come down when there is the masses of carrion from greenskin waaghs to eat.

Great mod. Makes the game objectively better basically. Feral wyverns for greenskins would follow the same logic. If you have time and patience for it, an update with wyverns for greenskins would be greatly appreciated. Wierd how Waaagh armies and rakarth get wyverns, but no way to recruit them if you actually want to directly.

CA changed some stuff in 2.1 about Nakai buildings (both on nakai and on his secondary lords) - not sure would this awesome mod need an update.

Feral polar bears makes no sense, this mod is fine the way it is. Polar bears are not a massed type of creature. They are far rarer and powerful, almost like a dragon in bear form.

and yea they are a bit generic. though some units that act as direct upgrades are a bit generic. they do have frostbyte too though, along with beging bigger.

My main problem with the polar bear beside the fact that they are indeed supposedly rarer in kislev than the standard bears is that they are just too big. Riddiculously big in fact even compared to Boris mount, and they are basically a straight (but mediocre) upgrade compared to the base bears.

I'm toying with the idea of maybe making a Feral Bear and Feral Cold One RoR, (so a pack of Horned ones and a pack of Polar Bears) but I have other stuff in the oven for now.

ice bears are also probably too prized to be put on the frontline so willy nilly. like the horned ones for example. you don't take a pack of horned ones and throw them on the frontlines either.

makse more sense for Dyrka cause she commands beasts directly. and out wanna be pokemon trainer amongst the dark elves wouldn't care to put a prized beast such as that as mere collateral.
