Thanks for the mod.

RPFM and remove the animals you don't want - i did that for bats,spiders,manticore :)

Manticore is born with the energy of the Chaos Wastes, it is unlikely to be recruited by the wood elves, and it would be better to replace it with the giant eagle of the high elves.

This mod now works perfectly with "major settlements are wood elf forest cities" mod
thus this can be built in all major wood elf cities, including modded ones

Looks like it's mostly compatible actually, but I've noticed the wolves have the "frost" effect coming from their skin, similarly to ice wolves from Norsca. Fix?

@Argo, there is a mod that gives you access to unique faction units when you confed them. Check that out. It's specifically for high elves and essentially offers the same thing. Pair that with a confed at 150+ mod and it's a walk in the park!

Yeah I run them through to make sure mine are functional
You can easilly do this by using RPFM updating it and refreshing cache and then run through every mod and check if any give error logs

go to land_unit_tables
or main_unit_tables
or something in that direction, you'll be able to change the majority of the stats
just don't edit the data file, only the mod file or make your own mod file

@Nothing Is there an easy way to add the stats of these animals into the mod? I'm a noob modder and I can adjust values, but I don't know how to add that stuff in. I like to make wood elf armies comprised of only animals and tree spirits. I dig the nature vs civilization concept. Thanks.

the tech tree hasn't been adjusted, the beasts have a very wierd ingame code, so I can't even say if drycha's drafted beasts are the same as the ones provided from the building lol
its a wierd mess with codes, where the same unit has different tribe groups

Here is some info from another mod:

"CA did change the "Group Key" ids in "db/cdir_military_generator_unit_groups_tables" which are also used in "db/cdir_military_generator_unit_qualities_tables" by many unit mods like mine, so if a unit mod still references the old group keys in the second table the game will crash as soon as the ai tries to look those values up."

re another thread: " the issue was most probably a result of them changing recruitment information for the AI and removing the old stuff we where using in the last patch as they've completely overhauled the system."

It just sucks cause now I have to find not only unupdated unit mods but also I have to know if the AI recruits them

my game crashes with any out of date mods so whether it works ingame i do not know, wh3 seems more sensitive to out of date mods than any other CA game
which is why i asked for update to recent version

@사슴펀치 I'm not sure why that one doesn't work, drycha seems to have, for some strange reason unique tags for some beasts for some reason, meaning its a mess, you could search for the tables that say to which technology that effect applies, perhaps it is bound to specific units or something instead of "beasts" I really can't say, all I know is that there's inconsistencies in the code, maybe drycha has a unique tag called "drycha_beasts" I don't know but its always something messy
