I'm not gonna lie, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I suggest using Vat's/Diego's CE Marines found in The Halo Archive. They're free to use and look pretty damn good.

Did these models get tweaked for some reason? I'm noticing the base BDU, color schemes, and a few other things are very different from the original upload.

I like the CE addon, though I just have one question which I hope you don't mind me asking.


Will there be more options for the CE stuff like that one vest that was part of the bodygroup? Or is it not possible? Either way, Cool beans!

PT2 CUZ STEAM SUCKS AND HAS A 1000 CHARACTER LIMIT

Relating to the game engine aspect of things...

why the faces in MGSV look good is because the FOX Engine (the game engine that runs both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain) renders lighting more better n stuff, making it actually pretty and not uncanny (please look at a comparison of the FOX Engine and Source thank u...)

relating to consistency..

consistency issues, considering some of the [UMP] addons like the Halo Reach Civilians and Halo CEA Crewmen still use the HL2 citizen heads and having the Halo Marine addons heads be changed from the normal HL2 citizen heads to the MGSV ones breaks the consistency pretty damn hard in my eyes.

i'm js man, the MGSV headhack was kinda uncalled for + they couldve made the MGSV headhack version an alternative download.

not being rude about it either, lotta people dont like the MGSV headhacks on most ragdolls & playermodels because it looks...unsurprisingly uncanny and disgusting and almost lifeless to some extent and it barely fits in the source engine due to source yknoooooooooooow.. ancient lighting and rendering engine.

(argument abt engines but char limit again lol, pt2..)

(was gonna put something about consistency involving the cea crewmen and reach civs here but i'll put dat as a pt2 cuz char limit)

At least put up the HL2 head version up as a whole seperate addon for people to get since people actually liked that one over the dogshit MGSV headhack..............lol

honestly i think the MGSV heads just look ugly asf and doesnt look good in the source engine...

Yeah for consistency reasons. Like for example the H2A Marine so that it uses the shared materials instead of it's own thing. Not to mention I can rip the H2A Marine now with game accurate rigging

They use the combine/citizen animations, if they're tposing for you that means you have something messing with the default combine/citizen animations

I just checked, Working just fine for me and my friend. Make sure you don't have some sort of weird addon conflicting.
