Converted /Added mechtrauma to my current sub, im running 3 engines, 2 Main MAN DIesel and then mechtrauma's diesel generator and powertrain as backup. functions ok i guess.. but the degredation of filters are super fast, hope you can fix em.

I'm getting this error. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Potential error in StatusEffect (Spore Infection). Target not defined, the effect might not work correctly. Use target="This" if you want the effect to target the entity it's defined in. Setting "This" as the target.

As a mechanic (IRL and in game) I can safely say that the oil filters degrade way to fast

Hello, the mod is very extensive and interesting in description, I’m thinking of trying it on a large assembly of the mod and here are a few questions:
1 what is the difference between alpha and unstable (well, besides the obvious fact that unstable... unstable) and how often alpha is updated
2 this is compatibility.. yes it is said that it should be compatible with many, but here is a list that I have doubts about:robotrauma,Enhanced Reactors,a derivative of 2 dangerous reactor mods, these are Hazardously Enhanced Reactors,and the most important (for me) is immersive repairs,also NT cybernetic
3 is it possible to add items from the mod, roughly speaking, to the ability to buy an upgrade for a boat that has only vanilla assets,that is,replace standard shields with your own, or add diesel or steam generators in a new location?
4 the final question, this is an addition to question 2,will you make patches yourself for compatibility with mods or will you outsource it to the community?

@Zretton the update are happening on the unstable version, tho the dev is stuck between work and other stuff so has issue giving the project the time it needs atm

BingBong the components wear out faster if the oil and oil filters run out or if the specific engine piece has low durability, so you have to watch out for both of those things

The oil/oilfilter/bearing/diesel can all wear out within 4 to 12 minutes, is that normal?
also, the electrical panels dont seem to take any damage at all
the turbines and drive gear dont seem to take any damage either, i love this mod though, awesome experience

Bulmmiuch Fungus can spawn at any moment in any air vent of a mech trauma sub (discluding starter subs of tier 1). When the fungus appears it infectseveryone on the sub with spores (the range on the fungus is 500, Nuclear railguns have explosion range of 1500 for comparison).
Anyone in range of infection gains it, unless you wear mechtrauma suits(the ones with durability).
The infection fundtions similarly to the husk infection, it stays invisible unless it reaches above 50%. the only way to cure it is to use the fungus from one of the vents in the microscope. this makes 4 untis of antidote. Though i would like to remind that the range on the fungus is 500.
meaning that everyone gets infected. so if you are playing with friends or npcs do not go above 4.
since they will die anyway.

Love this mod, just a couple little problems ive noticed

1. the steam boiler can explode leaving a giant nuclear explosion that doesnt go away and shakes the screen and stuff until you power down.. intentional maybe?

2. the power train has WILD power fluctuations even going at a constant speed. seems like the reduction gear is not normalized? constantly overvolts WHILE low volting because of the fluctuations.

Great mod, hope a simpler version comes out soon cause our mechanics complain they have to be tabbed in a little too long!

(in all seriousness though i hope one does come out, its great but i like also not having a total stop halfway through each mission at least twice)

Despite my efforts to setup the engine - power into boiler from powernet, power from boiler into turbine, power into reduction gear from turbine - I get no thrust. Now do I fix this?

so files validation is a lie and scam :d, completely deleting the mods helped.

To be precise, i have a simple relay system between the engines and terminal, so i can turn and and turn off the engines power so they dont use the items inside, this has been working absolutely flawlessly, after todays validation of files this system completely broke on all ships without touching them in any editor, the only way to keep the engines powered is now having them 24/7 connected into a junction box which means they will always eat the items inside.

What are the requirements for an Oxygen Station to refill its large tank? I had one that was able to fill O2 transfer tanks from its large tank but the large tank didn't refill. There definitely was some air getting to it, at some point it was even open to the air of an inhabited station. However, the large tank stayed at 0%.
