@vargasguerrero113 there's loads of mods that add ranks back to RoR, this then applies on top, no point doing something that has already been done

hey i have to do to you a suggestion about this mod and its because of the regiments of renown of the vanilla game. they are all unit rank 9 but they dont have the stats improvement that have the basic units so this units become sometimes even worst statiscally than base units which are rank unit 9

@Bladeuk I checked it now, it seems to work but the mod has very different logic to rank bonuses and what your mod gives is WAY too much compered to SFO. Do you do commissions? I would be willing to pay for a modder to go into SFO files learn the logic of the rank up system there and create a veteran mod that gives around 25% more each rank so they truly are more valuable but not game to OP and still has a nice flow to the game

Yeah, if two mods use the same tables, the one lowest in the load order will overwrite the values of the other one

I don't use SFO so I don't know what values they have edited but if its the bonuses they will be overwritten

@Bladeuk even if SFO edits the amount of xp required for a level up of a unit and the amount of bonus it gets per rank of unit?

@I'mnotgoingtosaythatusername :P this mod doesn't apply to RoR as they don't use experience or ranks, you need to get a mod that adds experience to RoR for this to apply

There might be a balance issue with the Regiments of Renown. The Carroburg Greatswords have 40 MA and 38 MD while the normal Greatswords at Rank 2 have 37 MA and 36 MD. Not sure if the numbers are still buffed in the background of the game but the unit information does not reflect the mod changes for any RoR unit I have encountered.

@DoubleFishes, the example given in the picture is probably a bad example as the stats on Reiksguard are quite high anyway, but for a tier 1 infantry unit like state troops the effect is more noticeable on a rank 9 unit vs vanilla. It's all to do with growth scalars, the more it has already, the more it grows. Game changing? Maybe, but it's all to do with how you want to play. If you go any lower on tier 1 units it's so close to vanilla that it's not worth it, but as the growth scalar comes into play tier 3 units will excel much more vs tier 1, and this is more game changing IMO

@DoubleFishes, it doesn't break it, but it does change it, if you have an army of fresh 'elite' tier 3 unit recruits, and they go up against an army of rank 9 bog standard tier 1 units the outcome would be different vs. vanilla, and you may even lose. It makes veterans much more useful, or a much more dangerous foe
