where do i spawn it?

i managed to force it to space after 12 hours (dont do what i did its not a great thing to spend your time on but if you want to im not stoppin ya)

@RedPug A quick tip for auto separation I found out, don't look at gas quantity, instead look at pressure.
The lower the feed pressure for the engines the lower thrust. :)

Update: I have realized the need to discover many new systems for the update. This could push the vehicle update back a fair amount.
I want to push out the best revision of the rocket as I can, and that involves focusing on the interior. Originally, the interior had very little care, but that's the main focus after the update so it's gonna be a while.

I can't make any promises, but I expect it will be done by november. My schedule irl is really tight the next few weeks, so I don't know when i'll be able to work on it.
I currently have it somewhat functional with infinite fuel enabled, but it is extremely laggy.

DLC seems to be fixed now, just found this mod and wondering when it will work?

Don't expect it to work atm. Once the dlc gets its bugs flushed out, and i have time to work on it, I will fit the vehicle to work properly.

oh... iirc, the flight controls are activated when the hardpoints below the Buran are launched. You can either use a constant on value in place of the signal from the hardpoints, or just add some hardpoints and launch them off when it spawns.

I really liked your Buran and did as you said, thank you! But I have little understanding of Stormworks systems and I could not activate the controls (Only the engines worked). I think this is due to the shuttle's undocking system. Could you tell me how to solve this problem?

i was actually forced to basically make BTS-002 because it needed engines on it to be of any use in the atmosphere, so it has jet engines that can propel it pretty far. If you want to use it without the rest of the rocket, you can try extracting it out of them mission and loading it in yourself. Just keep in mind that you'll need a modded workbench to fit it.

Could you make BTS-002 for flights in the atmosphere? I'd like to live in it and try to transport cargo

my current plan is to make it work with the space DLC. I have already gotten it sealed and have made room for new systems.

Could the cockpit be made watertight since its almost impossible to land and i always end up in the ocean, and will it be made for the space dlc?

It's an addon, so you need to go through the escape menu, then to the addon editor and load the addon.

It doesn't work, it just tilts left and crashes

it doesn't matter what seed you use, it always spawns at the creative base
it may take a bit of time to spawn, though.

what was the seed you use to made the rocket

the shuttle had several critical issues
1:
the tiles were very expensive to replace (no 2 tiles are the same shape), and many were missing after every flight from foam falling on them

2:
nothing can be done if the rocket has an issue during the SRB burn. You just have to wait for them to burn out.

3:
it required so much refurbishment that it cost more money per kg to orbit to use the shuttle over most other rockets with a similar capacity.

Shame that the Buran didnt get as much successfull as the Shuttles where... we need to get a Space Agency to make a Shuttle again, watching then lift off and land was awesome!
