sorry i had forgot i wasnt posting on the collection this was linked in. workshop mods are every mod in this collection, animal ears mod, marriage mod - to have & to hold, and Mortal Children. other mods are fox armors and the elin mod and its requirements (if you google them you will find them), also the elin replacement for the falkreath housecarl and the elin replacement for serana. I have every DLC as well as the highres texturepack (i didnt think about it b4 but i wonder if that is interfering).
Everything worked fine until i installed the collection. loadorder is whatever it was to begin with, not sure what order to put it in, so figured better to not mess with it. Like i said my save loads, until i fast travel or go inside then back outside.
i have 8 gigs of ram, windows 8 pro 64bit, asus hd7850 graphics card.
i have a backup from b4 i installed the collection of mods, but was hoping to use those mods.

Pick and choose a few here and there to figure out which mods will and won't work, I spent the last 2 hours trying to solve my CTD's, it's not happening.
it crashes with and without SKSE!
I get your point. Will have to wait for a proper sale then
You realy have to look at the mod description if DLC is required. If i where you a would buy the Skyrim Legendary Edition, then you never have to check the mods now and in the future.
Also i don't load my game from Steam i use the SKSE loader after i loaded all my mod's in Steam. You can find it in the link above.
Maybe add some mod's at the time them test it. That's how i created this list, i started with the graphics mod's then gameplay and adding NPC's. Pick from the list and if your not sure read the description if there is something with the load order.
Also Steam doesnt delete the Skyrim.ini and pref files. If you want a good clean install you should: unsubscribe all your mods in Steam. Delete the game in Steam, then delete all file's manualy that Steam left behind, then add my list
Also i never used Heartfire i only have it installed on my disk, i have the Skyrim Legendary edition. So i can't say for sure of you're house will work with these mod's.
Did the Ugrid method work for you?
