@Roadbobek unfortunately defining items and recipes is completely different in build 42 — i won't be updating this unless (until?) i start playing Zomboid again. sorry

Im pretty sure you just need to do is update the mod with a Build 42 tag.

Could you please update this mod for build 42, this mod is genuinely essential for me. :steamthis:

Great mod.

Well, excellent mod is somewhat compatible with tetris, etc, no need for backpacks with 1k of space, you can easily put your -50kg even in the fridge, thank you very much to the creator of this mod, I like that you can use it anywhere, a recommendation that I give is that you always carry extra tape, in case you run out of space and have to create another one, a very important recommendation is that when you carry a trailer, if your weight is at -500kg the trailer will skid on the road, I recommend you only carry between -50 -100 weight for the trailer to go well, as you fill up space, you create another item of space.

i haven't experienced this myself — probably because I've never actually tried running with a negative weight — but you can easily switch weights on the fly, so it's relatively simple to make a couple of 0kg items and bump them up to 20kg, 50kg or whatever as-and-when required, then bump them back down again when you don't need them.

For me, after using the mod for a while, my character will start feeling discomfort(probably because of the negative 100kg) and soon dies without cure

i found a way :) if i use a small item with storage, i can indirectly make a floor tile have more storage room by puting your kilos inside that small item with storage and then place that item in the tile i wish to use, isnt perfect but its good enough for me, i use a small gun case filled with your kilos to allow me to keep placing my guns in my gun tables :)

hi, this is great for me cause i love to make safehouses in places that normaly i wouldnt because there was no room for my stuff, untill now i used the place item option to solve the problem, that allowed me to have infinite storage, for ex, i could have 1000 cooking pots in a table, i would just place them aligned so it looks only 1 cooking pot, im telling all this because now in the last update this is no more possible, your mod helps me keeping possible to make safehouses in small places, but what i want to ask is if you can make your mod work on floor tiles too so i could keep placing items like i got so used to?

install like any other mod and then right-click some duct tape — you'll see the various kg Storage options, like in the screenshot. then move the new *x*kg Storage item into whichever container you want to have extra capacity.

@dedjustded can't say i've run into that bug myself — but tbh i hadn't really tested in that context, as i created this mod for myself thinking primarily about hoarding at home. that said, i just did a test run from muldraugh to west point with 300-odd kilos of sniper rifles in the trunk, no issues.

does this work with car trunks? From what I remember there was a bug where if you did something like this it would make the items fall off the ground when moving or something
