made some minor improvements and fixed the connection to the cockpit. I noticed some of these issues using it in a recent playthrough but didn't think a complete re-design was needed as it worked fine for the most part.

Maybe my issue is there is an other of turning the system on when u start to fly?

Well i got it working again, but iidk how xD still not sure how the docker is supposed to work, never worked for me

Not sure what could be wrong unfortunately. If everything is working while flying around then it should work when you dock or un-dock again. Doublecheck the timer block (TB) so that everything is setup correctly.

I think its the timer block thats making me have issue, sometimes it dosnt use the thruster properly, i cant take off, battery i on, tank is on and thrusters are on, but when i click that 6 button, it wont work proberly afther, its like something happends to the thrusters. Do u know what im talking about? and is there a fix? could be me just beeing 2 new to understand, but overall ur build is my favourit small binder by design and looks!

The controls should be fairly straight foward but here's a short rundown of the important ones:
> 1: Brake thrust - to cruise without brakes and save fuel.
> 2: Drills on or off.
> 6: Docking trigger - Timer block used for docking or undocking. Should have Systems group ON/OFF, Batteries group recharge ON/OFF, the rear and bot connector set to Switch Lock and Hydro tanks group set to stockpile ON/OFF (connectors sometimes do not get added properly when doing a manual build)
> 7 and 8 are both used to change hydrogen and system settings manually.
> 9 is used for selecting the drills so you can control them with the mouse buttons.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I think that would be really cool. Glad to hear these miners are getting a lot of usage too. Maybe you could post a screenshot later if you have time, would love to see how it looks.

Im starting a server and was gonna have a showcase section off of the lobby. Can I put 1 or more of your miners in there with a lcd panel off to the side saying the name of the grid and saying it can be found at FunkyBacon's workshop? I'm taking no credit just pointing players to some good stuff to build. I use your M5P on every server I play on its the second miner I build b4 my large grid space hydro monstrosity.

I doublechecked to make sure and they are connected. If you built it through a projector you may have missed a conveyor somewhere. Also, they are set to not show in inventory to make it less cluttered so try turning that back on.

the ship is nice, however the 2, H2 generators arent connected to anything so they dont work, no way to manually fill them either

Yes, I noticed that large grid is useless for mining. Was thinking actually something along the lines of wider body, for more dig area. And maybe something longer, where you can put 2 large containers and a lot of batteries, for ion drives. It's for space operations, so wider = higher - there's really no 'up' with no gravity 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do want to move up to large grid miners but they drill such a small area that you basically need to make an ugly wall of drills or use a line of drills with a rotor which very much limits the design options when considering survival/projector useage.

Just got to use some of your work. I've gone through MK I to M3P and was lacking something for space operations. This fills that gap pretty nearly, but I still am in the market for something bigger. Like... WAY BIGGER 😅

I'm not a big fan of large grid miners as the design options are very limited. The drills dig in such a small radius that a wall of drills is really the most simple and effective design one can make without resorting to using moving parts with rotors, pistons or hinges. But I might give it a try at some point.

People have been requested hydrogen ships for space for a while now so I finally got off my butt and made a few. May try and do a few Ion variants too but I find them to be a bit weak for hauling heavy loads of ore.
