To be honest, I’m sorta holding out for a Daemon Prince rework before returning to this mod. It has some deep-seated issues, and essentially needs a remake from the ground up, making it like the third time I’ve done this mod from scratch. Not to mention it really does little to improve the core daemon prince experience, which is still miserable. I know this is not the response you were hoping for, sorry.
Also nice name.
Doesn't affect singleplayer, but annoying in multiplayer.
Thank you for looking into it.
The only script in this mod is a 1-line tweak to the Legendary Hero script adding Harald to Daemons. I don't know what is causing the scripts of entirely unrelated mechanics to break, if it could be that or something else. I'm looking into it.
- Golgfag's contracts not working
- Skulltaker 0 essence enemy lords
various other more recent features no longer working ie chaos dwarves seem to be missing a lot
Honestly, the mod is fantastic, but I enjoy the challenging path. I like to imagine that Lords and Heroes evolve from scratch while I expand my realm
It also caused mods like console commands and trade any settlement not to show their buttons on the UI, super weird that so much breaks haha
That's certainly an interesting issue. I haven't updated this mod yet, so results apparently definitely vary. I'll take a look when I can. I can't even fathom what would cause those specific issues. Thanks for the feedback.
(I realise mod compatibility is outside the responsibility of modders for obvious reasons, but since it didn't cause this problem BEFORE the most recent Update, I thought it was worth mentioning.)
The answer is yes its possible, but no I'm not adding undivided units to it.
I only gave him a single skill for reducing upkeep in his undivided line to do at least something. Namely because as is, his skill tree is a mess that me throwing more units into solves little, and is thematically misaligned. His whole shtick is to be a daemon faction over a mortal one, and commit to a single God or wrangle with making the daemons work together undivided. Having undivided mortals as a choice, but not one that he excels at felt fine. TBH, I originally made the first iteration of this mod back before immortal empires just so I could have warriors of chaos units playable in WH3. I've always considered redoing his entire skill tree in this, or perhaps another mod, but many mods already attempt that, and I would like to think CA will eventually come around and clean it up officially.
Honestly, I’m waiting for the next patch to update my mods, especially this one, since the script for legendary heroes will be updated with karanak being added, and I’d rather not have to fix it twice.
Noted. TBH, wasn't planning on updating until the inevitable hotfix in the next week or so, but I'll give this a look when I can.
It's just upkeep reduction for undivided units in his army.
