Hi, I want to translate your mod, but I can't find in localization file names for the modifiers. Can you please add the modifier names to the localization file?

It's now been a couple weeks since me and my buddy were playing, so I honestly do not remember... I *think* he said he had the issue as well, but whenever I restarted my PC it would fix it on his end too since I was the host. Like it's nice when it works, but I have no clue what causes it to glitch out, because there will be multiple hours where it's fine and next day it'll be a single option in the list so you gotta manual reforge XD

I did recently find a different mod that apparently just directly forces the selection instead of rapid cycling till you get what you want, but I never got around to testing it...

It also happens purely client-sided; it doesn't happen to everyone in the server.

I knew about the manual reforge, and it works with other mods like Calamity that add in new modifiers as is... And as stated prior, weirdly enough restarting the PC seems to fix it for a while till it bugs out again. Just unsure why it bugs out lol.

@Angel Your issue is caused by autoreforge itself, using another mod "Armor modifiers and reforging" has the same "issue. Auto reforge isn't meant to be used with armors or equipment(mounts and hooks). You can press the hammer button to manually reforge, though.

The ones I'm guessing might cause the direct conflict would be this mod and the Armor Modifiers & Reforging, but I've already confirmed I can still get other modifiers that go on accessories along with the modifiers from this...

The best I could do, once we finish this play through on Secrets of the Shadows is maybe going through and disabling all my mods then doing them one at a time to see what might be causing it to always happen... But that won't be for a while. Otherwise I'm just unsure which mods might be conflicting to cause the issue v_v;; And my mod list is a bit long...

Didn't know a PC restart would change anything... I've just noticed it with all armors sadly. Though me and my buddy are trying it at the same time as trying Secrets of the Shadows atm, so it could just me using the modded armors and it having a weird conflict. But I've not seen any armor have choices in the Auto Reforge... Like I started off using the Ninja Armor (vanilla) but it didn't have the modifier list in Auto Reforge's UI (just had 1 choice, you have to manual reforge to get the others). Then I upgraded it to the Nargacuga armor from the Monster Hunter armors mod, same thing. Then I just started using the armor sets from Secrets of the Shadows and still the same thing.

This has happened to me @Angel.

I cannot recreate it however. It used to happen until we restarted our computers, then everything was fixed. I know what you are talking about. If you can replicate this issue consistently, please share.

For the context of how I know the mod works with the other mod that allows armor to have accessory modifiers, I just normal reforged to see what would happen. Got some of the mods from this one, things like 10% attack speed or whip lengths both positive and negative, and also things like warding lol.

Unsure if it's been asked already, and also unsure if I just happened to find a weird one that didn't work... But I went to reforge my Ninja armor while using the Auto Reforge mod and like.... it strangely doesn't list any reforge options. I will say I also have a mod that just lets armors have accessory modifiers, and have confirmed they both work together funnily enough. But this mod just doesn't seem to work with Auto Reforge. The only modifier it showed in the reforge list was Hot lol.

It might be a mod compatibility issue. We never had this in our multiplayer playthrough.

It may be a multiplayer issue, but my armor loses its modifier when I leave the server. Is there any fix for this? It's super expensive to reforge :(

I really wish this mod got updated, it really helped with early game summoner and also spiced up the game a bit. I don't have much hope anymore though.

yeah even if its all attack speed it has no chance against 40% crit damage thats insane

@Phantom It is attack speed. It affects guns, bows, and every attack speed. Melee will have faster projectile shooting and swings, and guns will have a faster fire rate. The same applies to magic weapons. Faster fire rate.

I don't think 4% melee speed has any chance to stand with either 40% critical effectiveness or 1 minion slot:steamsad:

@mst no, overlord items won't be necessary in hardmode. those are just additional buffs so they still will be just too strong, but not necessary

probably going a bit overboard here but i think instead of having positive and negative reforges which is catastophic for game balance it should instead have upsides and downsides for each reforge, say less health but more damage. but thats just my 2 cents

maybe you could make it be like +1 minion slot but -12% minion damage and -8% in hardmode
that way in prehardmode the max minion slots would go from 5->8 with obsidian armor and 6->9 with bee armor, while having to sacrifice 36% minion damage. this would make it worthwhile but still not being catastrophic, although im not exactly sure because i obviosuly havent tested it. with 8% in hardmode this makes it still worth getting because the extra minion slots you get would make the damage reduction outweigh the increased minion slots, only making the damage reduction 24% while increasing the max minion slots from 11->14, which i guess isnt actually that worth it but excluding summoner potions which are annoying to get and maybe swapping out one of the summoner accessories for, say, a soaring insignia, i could see the reforges having their use.

Same thoughts. I reckon that maybe each modifier can be enabled or disabled through configs. I'm not sure how to balance around minion boosts.

overlord would be game ruining pre-hardmode and just absolutely necessary in hardmode
