After clearing the ground floor, I used the right half of the door to the stairs down and gt an error message: Target index is invalid: 1, and the game brought me to the main menu... Will try again with the other half...

Thanks for the detailed reply! I've changed it to allow starting at 2nd level per your suggestion. Also, you weren't supposed to be able to access the stairs down in the manor without going through the rest of the level first. I had that disabled for testing and forget to re-implement it. It's fixed now thanks to your feedback.

Honestly, the first fight with the 6 wolfs at level one was such a pain in the ass, was the only situation I had to use a Scroll of Revivify on. Second would be the Queen Spider fight, mainly because I was already drained of resources. I was also not the biggest fan of the Brimstone Viper fight before the manor. It was so many lol. Last complant I really have is the fight to at the staircase down to the second level of the Manor. The fight is great IF you don't run into it the moment you enter the Manor (which happened to me). I feel like adding another key for that room would be appropriate so that you don't get fucked over the second you enter the main quest location

Fun little adventure, loved how detailed all the maps where. Gotta say tho the early fight feelt extremly imbalanced. It would probably be better to give the option of starting with level 2 or even 3 characters.

The note you got mentions the sun going across the sky over the land. Outside the manor, read the pillars in the correct order East to Noon to West and then the Earth beneath{/spoiler].
