They glow purple in the light*

I'm assuming the gloves are supposed to glow purple since this is a commissioned addon?

@KeBoki I've pushed a patch to resolve the issue. Thank you for identifying the problem as it wasn't present in my game or the person who commissioned the addon.

From a creator standpoint, saying "the textures are the problem" gives me like 10% of the information I need to find a solution

Im going to assume the issue is a purple overlay. If that's the case, put mat_specular 0 into your autoexec file or do it in console. This will remove reflective maps and most likely fix your issue
