Has anyone noted that Morathi's sword now seems to float inches from her hand, in the campaign map anyway/model viewer. It seems to be fine in battles.

I have a question, please could you help me figure out how to give a sword to a single entity, I've played around with man animations, man entity, and even variantmeshes but I've had zero luck.

I'm trying to give Shugengan a magistrate sword.

Maybe they did make the call in end, that she doesnt use the sword in battles, so f fixing it on the campaign map, I mean I get, but what I really hope for is that she gets an entire new animation set with both weapons for my pipe dream future DE/Slaanesh DLC. But yeah, pipedream. Till then, this ain't going no where.

@Floskan, so funny thing. It is in the bug fix mod for 2. I tried to submit it for them this go around, but I dunno, they didn't want it. Thank you for doing that though, I appreciate it.

On another note, mod still works fine fyi, no broken limbs from any updates on CA's end as sometimes get. And sorry Dizzy if reading this, this is like an eternal mod so I don't check comments much right (and I play DE main so if its broke, I'd notice pretty fast versus other mods), but yeah, so um hahah testing another mod with nothing in load list to make sure not chasing my tail on an issue, yeah no, not even on the campaign map. I dunno, it's really not a hard fix.

Heads up ya'll: Mod was causing a CTD after the update. This has been fixed, please unsub and resub if you're still having the problem.

With her original animation she always ended up in the middle of the enemy because she constantly keep rolling forward.

Now with that she survive a lot better and it is way easier to pull her out of danger.

maybe they were just thinking other one that is just the variant mesh swap(if they used updated community bug fix mod for 2, it would of been in sfo ironically enough haha, so too maybe referencing that already, not sure haha) as that one would work with anything in theory, this one tho you'd have to just copy their land unit table and make the animation swap to keep their stats in, im not modding for time being but can put that on todo list as it's an easy submod project to do when im back at it :) (anyone feel free to do so too if want, like a five min project if know what to do right)

I don't think so sadly, I brought this mod up on sfo discord and talked about how it wasn't compatible with sfo, but both venris and another sfo big name talked me down with how it worked and how wrong I was, but me and another player had actually tried playing and both realised the two mods were incompatible, but no they wouldn't hear it. I don't know why they just didn't try it out for themselves, they would've seen. They just watched the numbers maby and thought it added up, i dont know..

does this mod edit Morathi's stats? because it seems to be incompatible with SFO, it reverts her combat stats to "vanilla" instead of using SFO edited stats.

Ya so one thing did find out from snooping is that both factions currently use same variant for the non exalted unit version, so not losing it, that is same look as 3’s exalted and lord of change unit which far as I can tell share most features(especially colour) other than metals bits talking about.

Some mods can remain on too, if was something from early days of 2 it’ll be your data folder with file type “.mov” iirc, those are a basic way to mod but are always loaded by the game, so maybe got one of them just forgot about but like saying, think remember using mod like that if was issue in past etc

yeah just tried woc still same hmm only thing thing i can think of is if some mod files stay on game even after disabling or maybye resoluting but yeah wierd the modsi have subscribed are just quality of life mods nothing graphical that would affect model. looking at the generic lord of change monster i think it feathers have also turned color of an exalted, only way to tell them apart is the exalted has its three eyes and metal on wings

weird, looking for idea for diff campaign anyways so think try out that faction, and ill keep looking into this, but yeah, seems fine on my end lol going to say too maybe from a mod, but that kinda rules that out haha guess if I come across it and can figure out whats going on before devs potentially fix w/e that is, I'll upload something for sure.

playing as tzeench i thought it may of been a mod but i unsubscribed and disabled them and did a custom battle test and still same hmmm

@waddy when see this, what faction are playing where see this? Did quick look through the files and tested in custom battle, seems fine in there but could be campaign specific...just few factions have access to them haha, mainly wondering WoC or Daemons?

are ya also able to do a mod that fixes the lord of change staff back to its tentacle version which after dlc got bugged to an exalted staff that reverts to its tentacle version only when casting

nah, I wish lol, 2 was same deal in fact these are straight ports (minus updating variantmesh), from those. Her default animation would need to be redone(way beyond average modders ability, CA ideally would do it but.../sigh), so she actually uses both items assigned to her mesh, as it is i believe her on foot animation is hardcoded to only have the halberd, note too she actually holds halberd in her opposite hand she does while on Sulephet as on her pegasus she's using default animation for a sorceress. Only reason this one doesn't cause issues(simply cannot just assign any animation you want to diff units as their model has to match its movement or it gets reeeeaaaallll jank real fast) is cause her model is rigged for it, as same base set for while she's mounted.

is it possible for her to have the sword in her own animation didnt your warhammer 2 just add the sword without changing the animation
