I concur, something is definitelly not working as intended and you cant grow defender of the empire. Idk what might be the reason, maybe confederating with fealty is not checked or something.... I played full diplomatical game and ended with almost no trust at all at the end

so be warned, I was playing a new Karl game and got a rebellion from this mod... it had 3 steam tanks, 2 demigriphs w/ halberds, and 2 volly guns with a mess of tier 2-3 infantry... on turn 14

well, I am 67 turns into my campaign. With the exception of 1 city all of the empire is either under my control or the elector counts (no more marienburg, no more vampies, no more beastmen and no more festus). Yet my trust is at 24%, how?

Is the second Screenshot from the first campaign turn?
Because... if the provinces just need to be in the hand of a human faction 28% Trust would be preaty low? I mean... at the start there are only Sylvania and the one Goblin faction near Nordland missing or am i wrong? Of course it will go down with a hit once Festus, the beastman the Orcs and the Tree guy near Ostermark get moving...

@O6OPMOT thanks! Maybe some sort of mechanic (dilemma?) that would allow getting settlement back from an ally? Buying it back is almost impossible, they sit at -50 approval even though fort is t1 settlement and we've perfect relations. Which is obviously vanilla issue with diplomacy but also something that's bound to happen in almost every game.

I know this is nitpicky, and it's totally up to you, but might it be more appropriate for the "Power of Nature" effect name to be "All hail the Emperor"? I've always associated that phrase with Emperors, and "Long live the. . ." for Kings.

@Mixxer5 Well, on second thought, it's working like intended. You don't have all the regions, so it's capped to 62%. But now I understand the difficulties. The solution will be changing effect bundles. When you own all inner regions you shouldn't have nor bonuses, nor penalties. And with owning outer regions the bonuses have to grow.

I owned everything except for fort between Marienburg and Bretonnia (because they conquered it and starting war with my ally to get it back seems rather stupid) and some provinces were still owned by electors. Still 62% and penalties.

@Mixxer5 In order to gain more than 62%, imperial factions must control @outer@ regions: 3 forts, wasteland, eastern and western sylvania.

Yeah, something has to be wrong with how it's calculated- every province on the list is in imperial hands but it alternates between 60% and 28% (if one gets conquered).

Do you have to be in control of the Empire provinces personally or something for the bonus to actually start applying? I can see in the description it says "When all the regions from provinces listed will belong to human factions...", but in my campaign I still only have the starting 28% trust despite the fact that the Empire regions are entirely in control of either me or the elector counts with the sole exception of Drakenhof (Zhufbar managed to sneak in and take it before I could evict Vlad myself).

This is script based? This also should have been in the imperial authority mechanic for the empire but idk why CA didn’t put two and two together.
