I can't wait to play the Against the Cult installments.
Thank you for a great adventure, pbalfe!
Out of ideas. Suggestions?
When I go to the crypt, all that happens is the screen goes a little dark and the journal says "conversation recorded: Sepulchre." ("You hear an unearthly scream...). Nothing else happens.
Casting Bless on my party in the throne room doesn't do anything...
what am I missing?
May I suggest to write in the description that having a paladin or a cleric in the party is demanded to finish one of the quests?
I did actually get to the crypt after the throne room. And it did spawn a fight, but I may need to loot that sarcophagus, which I couldn't do. That's probably what requires IS.
Well, I was probably going to grab at least one of those DLCs next time on sale (which I presume will coincide with the new DLC). So I'll wrap this guy up once I do. Thanks for the direction. I did in fact quite enjoy the dungeon till I ran out of DLCs!
1) Locked door: If you spoke to the bard in the tavern and gave him gold (3 in total I think) you will get a key for this door. Side area only
2) It looks as though you did get to the area after the throne room. In the crypts off there it should spawn a fight. You should need the inner strength DLC as well. I thought I had that selected as a DLC required
3) The way onward from this level of the dungeon is past the goblin area in the north of the level.
1. There is one locked door left that I can't open. It's kind of near the "Leath Daoine Leader" area, across from the room with the pentagram on the floor.
2. Nope, can't figure out how to get thru the throne room. I'm in the room, my cleric's got the Amulet of Daghda and the Staff of healing equipped and attuned as per the post by Jack n'a on 4/19. Same cleric casts Bless on all four party members and...nothing happens. I'm obviously missing something obvious.
1. I can enter the crypts through both entrances, and everything proceeds normally. And if I want to save the game when in the crypts, I can. But if I try to load a game that was saved in the crypts, it won't let me and says ("missing DLC Inner Strength"). (No, the only DLC I have is Lost Valley). Loads/saves everywhere else work fine.
2. I've gone back to the crypt off the Ancient Throne Room. There's a sarcophagus in the middle. I *think* I looted it and everything was fine when I played it but I can't remember. When I click it now, the game sort of ... hesitates, and nothing pops up, no inventory or message or anything. Like I said it may be totally fine but I wanted to mention it since the above crypt weirdness.
im now in the citadel and every 2 fights i have long rest. i dont mind that its hard, i prefer it that way. but at lvl 1 i felt it overwhelming :D
their AC is not 13 as stated but 15. the large twig blight is counterspelling 4 times a fight, and all of them use 3rd lvl spells :D CR1 or 2 combat btw
Am i doing something wrong?
Mapping is good, so are the quests and balance.
i would suggest to help your players with traveling the areas though. A lot of back and forth, or sometimes 4 loading through maps just to validate a quest or to take a long rest... You should put multiple exit choices like you did from the lvl 2 dungeon. It would definitly smooth the experience.
