Just managed this in my current campaign! It was a trek, but IE Expanded has a connection north of Cathay over to Naggarond. Since Malus died in my run, I had to bring him back, shank him, then I got to wreck Malekith with some daemon help!

One question though, is it possible to add Tz'arkan's comments in campaign? I remember seeing a vid showing off Tz'arkan Snikch in WH2 and just like with Malus, your new daemon buddy would yell stuff. Pretty sure Snikch would even respond just like Malus with a little, "Shut up daemon!"

That sounds really hard to pull off considering you start very far from Malus and he's pretty likely to die on his own long before you get there...

I find it a bit strange no modder had yet done that. I've seen it only with the Chorfs. It doesn't seem like it would be a lot of effort (no, this is not a suggestion, I am just commenting).

What they did with Eltharion and Grom really sucked in that context.

One thing I like they did with the latest DLC is implement the campaign in IE. I would really, really like if CA would go back and update all the custom campaigns that had existed in WH 2, bringing them up to IE. Including Snikch and Malus...

Update: I just started a new campaign and teleported to Malus via console commands and killed him as Clan Eshin, still received the same base trait

I used Sniktch to defeat Malus, but I'm playing Clan Skyre and I got him via confederation, does the mod only work when playing as Clan Eshin?

I have yet to test, but I assume it does. You were playing as Sniktch right?

No, i mean like if for example Boris or Karl or Tyrion defeats malus and gets possessed by tz'arkan, by obtaining the trait that includes tz'arkans abilities + plus his full possesion ward safe and maybe some slaanesh corruption spread and his warpsword regeneration effect, i know it sounds kinda op, but its no more op then sword of khaine, it would be fun to hunt malus just like we hunt the sword.
