I’m playing single player so I have to put the helicopter in to auto hover when I winch down but every couple of seconds the helicopter nose
will rise up slightly causing the helicopter to drift backward every couple of seconds any idea on how to fix this because it not fun swimming 5 minutes after a helicopter that’s getting further and further away from where are you put if?
The autopilots main utility is during cruise flight. The heli will happily stay in a steady hover without it.
Did you attached the blue cable from the harness to the outside winch?
This is a basic game mechanic.
I had not seen the winch outside on the top of the right door.
I was fighting with the interior winch which is made of it as a support.
Everything works it's great
I just tested it and it works fine from the handle controller by the door.
Ok you have to connect a blue cable to the harness to use it
Are you using the harness controls? If so did you use a blue cable to hook it to the winch?
I love your helicopter but I don't understand how to use the winch

Please let me know how it works
The AP needs to either be in HD or WP mode, and its green when active. The H or C between those is for Hover/Cruise. If in HD mode it will hold current heading which can be adjusted with the +/- on the AP screen. Touch H to switch to C for cruise and that will hold forward speed.
WP needs a waypoint entered from the map on the large keypad. It can't be activated without entering a waypoint. When its active and on Cruise mode it will fly to the waypoint and switch to Hover mode.
Alt hold will automatically be turned on with either of those modes and can be adjusted with the +/- on the AP panel.
The fuel problem is something the devs broke with the world pumps and career refuleing...
