MAN 1.5?
Nameless 26 Mar, 2023 @ 12:47pm
Thank you for your kind reply, @Bonible! I am very sorry to hear that. But I hope to see more of your works, as I am sure is true for many-many other members of the community. Thank you for your work!

@Nameless

I'm giving up on this mod because Biotech mechanoids are simply better in my opinion. Sorry ;(

Hi @Bonible, thank you for the mod, it is really cool! I wanted to bring an issue I encountered to your attention. A mech cluster with vanilla and MOW mechanoids landed, and they were all asleep as usual. But there was also an Enforcer from your mod that landed with the cluster. It had no weapon, started acting immediately, was hostile and attacked only colony buildings. Once it made the first attack on a colony building or was attacked by the colonists, the entire cluster awakened. Here is the log: https://gist.github.com/2f103f74e52b23c7328b0de3c3ea95ec May I please kindly ask you to look at that when/if you have time?

Deleted post, no point having it in two places, saw this thread first. Will comment in the Makeshift thread instead.

Whar......

Commenting here, as well, this mod also shares the same combat power scaling issue as the makeshift one.

Uhhh.. none that I know of.
KnightedWarrior 7 Dec, 2022 @ 11:20pm
Nice mod!
Also, is there an addon that lets the player unlock the enemy mechanoids from mechanoids expanded somewhere?
Jimrambit 30 Nov, 2022 @ 6:56am
Alright, Thanks
Bonible  [author] 29 Nov, 2022 @ 8:21pm
@Jimrambit

It works with Biotech, but because of their differences, I do not see why you would have both rather than one over the other. Regardless, it works fine.
Jimrambit 29 Nov, 2022 @ 7:20am
Does This Stick Into Biotech?
Krankus Wrexus 27 Oct, 2022 @ 12:54pm
Oh okay thanks
Bonible  [author] 27 Oct, 2022 @ 10:46am
..No. You just gestate the mechs from the machines o' war mod.
These are different, factory-built. They don't gestate.
Krankus Wrexus 27 Oct, 2022 @ 8:23am
I meant can a mechinator gestate yours like they can the ones from the machines of war mod
Bonible  [author] 27 Oct, 2022 @ 7:45am
Yes, Biotech mechanoids and VFE:M mechanoids can co-exist on the same map.
Krankus Wrexus 27 Oct, 2022 @ 7:44am
You can use both the original mod and your ones as a mechinator right

Updated for 1.4
Bonible  [author] 27 Oct, 2022 @ 3:04am
I will now be updating this for 1.4!
spartandued 16 Sep, 2022 @ 10:17pm
@Bonible. Nice. He gets all the coolest toys in the Rim. Lol
Bonible  [author] 16 Sep, 2022 @ 10:08pm
@spartandued

Hmmm.. considerable..
And he *has* unlocked Automated Defensive Measures last episode..
spartandued 16 Sep, 2022 @ 9:49pm
Hey @Bonible, if there isn't one already, make a Mecha Joris. Lol. That'll get his attention.
Bonible  [author] 13 Sep, 2022 @ 6:28pm
@Kel'Thuzad

Hell yea, I love em! Maybe I'll go for the Tyrikan Line mechanoids next. Or if Mr Samuel Streamer finishes the series, and the new version comes out, I'll go for that instead.

I started doing this because I prefer unique, brown-tinted mechanoids, and I get confused with allied and enemy mechs whenever I use WTHack/MFoundry
Bonible  [author] 13 Sep, 2022 @ 6:26pm
@Moon Cheese
Compared to Mechanoid Foundry or What the Hack?! where you can control vanilla/modded mechanoids, VFE:M's machines make player-exclusive mechanoids that can be easier-distinguished by their brown carapace.

This mod takes the mechanoids from Machines of War mod and uses them as VFE:M machines.
Eclipse 13 Sep, 2022 @ 6:28am
Sorry for a dumb question but what that mod actually does?
Kel'Thuzad 13 Sep, 2022 @ 3:34am
Oh, we're doing this now? HECK yeah, please keep this up for more mechanoid mods! <3

Considering that the Cicade scream affects organic pawns regardless of what side the cicada is on, a cicada missing its implant could be called "it's not a bug it's a feature".

... well it is a mechanical bug but that is besides the point.
