Mod still working as of patch 5.1.1 (I just played a 100 turn MP campaign as Dwarfs).

@Commander Wildman Unfortunately, that is currently not possible. Basically, in WH3 the 1 Ancillary per character is hard-coded, it's not a setting that can be changed. This mod only works because it changes the result of the forging process from 3 of the same rune, to 1 each of 3 nearly identical runes (same effect, but different IDs in the files). It's a workaround until CA gives us the option to make ancillaries stack.

Could you make one for all factions. This was always an enjoyable mechanic because you could create some interesting themes in your armies.

Why did you choose 3 specifically? There are times when I wished for more than 3. For example Strollaz Rune in Belegar's army would be useful more than 3 times because he wants to have a bunch of Rangers kiting and he wants to have more than 3 units of Rangers.

Yeah, it would be nice if there was a global toggle that allowed banner stacking, but since there isn't (as far as I know), we're stuck with workarounds. Also, the non-character unit bug is definitely vanilla, and I can't see how to fix it. The good news is that the new banners added by this mod only inherit the original banners' effects, so if the bug is fixed by a patch (or by another mod), this mod should not require updating/compatibility patches.

I think it's because the Master banners are 1 by 1, not in a set. Shame, I wanted a frontline of Ironbreakers with perfect vigor lol.

Banners that are crafted in sets should be stackable (at least those in the set), which one was giving you trouble? And yes, this is a vanilla bug (though I may be able to fix it, currently investigating).

Master Banners can't have multiple in one army. Is this intended? Also, descriptions that specifically say "non-character unit" can still be applied to characters. Is this a vanilla bug?

Appears to be a vanilla bug. The non-mod version of the Rune of Seeking also breaks the Flame Cannon in my test game.

Pretty sure its caused by this mod, but for some reason, equipping flame cannons with the Rune of seeking, makes them not able to shoot. Like, at all

Are you talking about the random loot drop banners, or maybe ancillary fusing? There definitely isn't a crafting menu for Bretonnia.

Probably not, since this replaces the forging results with new items. Removing it mid save would definitely cause problems. You might be able to add it in mid-save, but any runes that had already been forged would be the vanilla versions, not the stackable ones.

Looks compatible. The other mod doesn't appear to actually change the result of the crafting action, or the stats of the resulting item, so it'll probably work.

@Bitzeit @TheIrishMan Unfortunately, making a mod like that using this method would be extremely difficult (since I manually made identical copies of each rune). Technically this is just a workaround until another mod author finds a way to do what you described.
