@gableHETA yes you can absolutely upload a whole replacement using any assets in this, I haven't had time to do anything with stellaris in ages. I'm glad someone has taken it up!

You sound like one of those people who will put the mod in the wrong load order with NSC and then complain when stuff goes wrong.

Imagine not wanting to read in a game like Stellaris of all things.

Hello guys, sorry for yanking the other file off the workshop yesterday. It is the weekend so I decided to try my hand at making a patch instead. It requires this mod as well as the patch to function. Here is the link:

@gableHETA You may have better luck getting a hold of the original authors of this mod. I think @witherfork has been MIA on this project for quite some time. There is another new EVE mod that was dropped earlier this year that I believed is co-authored by one of the guys who made this mod. Though they have been radio silent for a while too. Either way thank you for the additional effort, and should the OP devs look see this too, you guys rock. Love this mod.

Hello Mod author. I dont know if you still see these, but please can you update the mod. 4.0 completely broke the shipset and it now reads as biological ships.
It renders the shipset unusable which is a pity because this is the best eve shipset

Hello :) This needs please a Update. In 4.0 Its counted as Bioships and not as mechanical anymore :) So you need Food and other stuff to build this

Where's the Gallente Federation Talos? Don't get me wrong I love having an EVE Online shipset, but that's my favorite ship in the game and it's like the one ship that's missing. The other three empires have their Attack Battlecruiser so why not them?

Is the Typhoon model used? I cant seem to find it in my playthroughs. Either way awesome mod.

This fan port of 3.5 works better on 3.8 than the official mod's updated only ships version for 3.7..
Dont make the mistake I did, dont remove the mod.

Official one that got the update for 3.7 has some issues, such as colosus simply not existing for 3/4 factions and one minmatar building being impaled by a random mammalian station piece.
The models may be dark but the original doesnt mostly solve this either..

That was more so at Eyebrow, but that assumes they keep backups, are actively developing the mod and haven't abandoned it (which they have)

They never had a downscaled integrated version, I made a downscaled patch for it which never got finished.

Mod authors have zero obligations to provide anything. Mostly they just share what they make for their own enjoyment - and we are grateful.
The thing is: this shipset was apparently downscaled to begin with, and later the ships were made bigger. Maybe a downscaled version can be made from the older files?

Mod authors have absolutely zero obligations to provide a downscaled patch.. You cannot just change a single number value (and that's if the mod is set up that way), you also need to manually move the turret locators, etc

If you want to create a downscaled patch then make one yourself.

I experience crashes due to this mod, which i checked this mod needs alot 3D graphics. my GPU is(Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics, 1.3GHz) Hope this comment can help you as a reference if you are considering can your PC handle it.

I can't update my previous comment but Stellaris does not use ambient occlusion maps, so its the wrong texture layout when porting*

@BlueberryWizard Metallic and Roughness under PBR shaders (which is what EVE uses) are handled very differently to Stellaris (which uses a hybrid shader between Specular and PBR)

Metallic is too high (and must be customized), roughness isn't inversed, vanilla Stellaris skyboxes leave an ugly "wet specular sheen effect" on metallic surfaces in general, and the emissives have a 3x bloom (where as in EVE there's absolutely no emissive bloom), ships that use lightmaps for AO (which models only retain under fbx, not obj) will have black patterns where there shouldn't be any. There is Objectively alot wrong with this mod, but as far as I know Kab or Witherfork are slowly fixing these issues.

Unfortunately that specular sheen issue will always remain for as long as the mod doesn't use custom skyboxes. (This can be fixed by setting Cubemap_intensity in the skybox worldgfx to 0.0)

@Regnion Caldari ships are metallic in nature, even in EVE online, they ( CCP - EVE ONLINE ) apply a very limited reflection map, to prevent the ships from turning completely black, so it could have been ripped badly, removing or not properly applying all of the features of the model.

as far as i know with the amarr ships, now it's been a while since i played EvE, and when i did i mostly played with Minmatar and Gallente ships, with some caldari ships thrown in there during the missile meta, but the colors that appear on the engine trails and engines, are different depending on which ship you fly, each ship have their own features.
