@Uledrith yes. Since the resource income is basically hardcapped to your campaign progress there ist no real way to rush this and ruin the campaign curve.

@mckenzmr2011 just click on the upgrade button, the numbers will always show in red in the new ui. As long as you have the resource available it will work

Anyone else having issues with these upgrade mods across multiple factions? I have plenty of the currency needed to upgrade units, but when I go to upgrade them, it doesn't recognize the currency and acts like I have 0, and I can't upgrade.

What DLC does this require? (I can see it has required things, but the store links don't work and it doesn't show the full title in the preview mode) have been having weird crashes and am trying to get to the bottom of it.

@Lily this is completely expected. Every modded units. Every unit mod will require a submod for the modded units to receive any upgrades. You can find a submod for Radious linked in the mod description

Hey not sure if this is a bug I found or if this is intended but the unit upgrade system doesn't seem to like Radious Total War Mod's units very much. I haven't been able to upgrade the units that it add's which is fine in most cases but I thought I'd bring it to your attention incase this isn't working as you wanted. Cheer's for you hard work! I had alot of fun.

Ah! My groups found that copy list function is not 100% reliable. So, we manually compare/adjust lists, usually by screenshotting the list to Discord. Tedious but mostly reliable.

@ZeuZ verifying game files will also delete all subscribed mods from the workshop and redownload them. Had to use this many times before mp campaigns since steam can be quite lazy when updating mods (compared to game updates), but chances are that steam will have updated it anyway the next time you try it, so I would test it before verifying since it takes some time

Thanks for the suggestions! We both use "wh3 mod manager" by prop joe, and use the copy list function to make sure our load orders are the same.
Only ticking this mod on, in identical load order, made our hosts game show as red, other mods we tested works and we can join up.
I thought verifying game files only works for problems in the base game files, not mods?
I will try your suggestions regardless so maybe I can have overpowered waywatchers

@ZeuZ try verifying game files like glospey mentioned. Will always fix version issues unless it is caused by differing mod lists/load orders

NOTE: If you have a 3rd party mod manager, we've noticed that we have to have it closed for the unsub/resub to work correctly.

There was an update a couple of days ago. Maybe someone doesn't have that update? Steam is AMAZING at correctly, automatically updating :P (sarcasm) Including those who already did it, I would have everyone in your group: unsub, give Steam a full minute to notice, and then resub.

Otherwise, having everyone verify game files might also correct the issue.

Hey thanks for great mods.
Any idea why this doesn't work in multiplayer for us but works in my own campaign? It says we have different game versions as soon as we enable this. Tried resubscribing, not sure whats happening. Your count/coast upgrade one works for us in multiplayer, but maybe thats because we played as counts + coast?

@Fulminata I removed the ward save from the aspect of vaul and bloodgreed from the aspect of khaine in the new update. I also redesigned the blessing of khaine to be a stronger form of bloodgreed that caps out at 300 unit kills

In this case, I'd tone down some of the upgrades. +20 armour for WEF is probably too much, as well as +15 ATT when in melee. Overall, the Khaine & Vaul upgrades seems to be too overpowered.

@Fulminata it is not possible to do that, It's always only one upgrade or all upgrades possible. You will only get one or two upgrades per turn in early to mid campaign so equipping one unit with all buffs will take you a considerate amount of turns and they are not unkillable even with all upgrades on one unit. The resource can also be used to rush construction so this is another factor worth considering. I am also planning to lock the upgrades behind their respective research techs with the next update

the buffs are too strong given you can apply ALL of them on the same unit.
Suggest to limit amount of upgrades to one per unit

@Cpt Crappy the button also appears without using Scrap UI Framework, but as long as Scrap UI Framework is up to date it shouldn't cause any issues except revealing the button to all factions even when they don't have any upgrades available

Yeah the button is there, if i run "Scrap UI Framework". if i don't then it won't show up. Oh well, it works with the UI Framework so i might as well just play with it :P

@Cpt Crappy the button to upgrade should not be on the unit card but in the bottom of the army panel. It should be called aspects and it will appear when you left-click select an army. If it doesn't appear right away try reselecting it until it does.

The upgrade screen says that only one aspect can be equipped at a time, but I'm able to use multiple aspects simultaneously just by adding more onto a unit that already has one, similarly to how scrap now works for greenskins.

The button to upgrade is on the unit, but when you click the unit card there is no upgrade option.
However, with the "Scrap UI Framework" I do get the aspects options.

@Cpt Crappy I tested it and can't find any problems, can you tell what you are seeing or not seeing? (eg. the button to open the upgrade UI or the favour resource holder in the topbar, the unit upgrades inside the upgrade ui)

@hdevin237 it actually is intentional. It was originally planned that the cost increases by 1 for every upgrade already present but this didn't seem to be possible so i left it as it is. In 6.0 they introduce a scaling cost effect for the greenskin scrap system so I will look if I can implement my initial concept when the patch drops

@gabrieltams24 my bad that was the key for the projectile. The projectile display key to use there is: wh_wef_waywatchers_arrow

Yeah, tried it, and it crashes the game as soon as the upgraded waywatchers try to shoot. Pretty certain I did something wrong but here goes, a step by step of what I did, maybe it will help:

used rpfm to open your pack, namely the "DD_gifts_of_athel_loren.pack"
went to "projectile tables" wich has two entries:
"dd_gifts_of_athel_loren_trueshot_waywatcher_projectile"and a second one that ends in "ror".

Pasted "wh_dlc05_wef_waywatchers_arrow" in the "projectile display" section for both entries.
