@TAILS: I agree with you that campaign is terrible made and it is inspired (you can call it "copied" if you want) by other crazy campaigns, but there is one (good?) reason for it - it is my first campaign ever made. And I am pretty sure that things you made for first time, does not matter if it was sex or bike ride, will not be the best one ;) I am looking forward to game design so hopefully one day will gets better, but it is far away from now. Anyway, do not expect any normal campaign as they are all boring to me. I am sorry for your frustration.
@senor: I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it, thanks :) Check my tralala collection as there are tralala 1,2,3 - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2863050976 , BUT latest camapign is tralala2, not 3!
I feel like this is some AI experiment :) Cheers
it tries to replicate certain quirks that other funny maps like glubtastic has, but fails horribly.
the maps difficulty is too hard for the wrong reasons; platforming and lots of specials dont seem too hard, right? that would be so if it werent executed so poorly. platforming (specifically on map 3) is too buggy, clunky and overdone for even a somewhat enjoyable experience.
you could argue that the macgyver'd structure and spontaneous tank spawns add to the overall challenge, and thus, feeling of reward after you beat it. but i'd argue that it only adds the sense of relief.
the feeling of dread and frustration after you get knocked off of one of the rotating propane tanks(?) in level 3, for example. remedies for such a problem would require so much polish that you may as well just make and entirely new map. it all feels slapped together with duct tape and spit.
So. for those dedicated to overcoming jovially ridiculous obstacles, then this map is for you. but if you want to actually enjoy a l4d2 custom map experience whether solo or with friends, absolutely do not play this map.
I wanna make it longer and I am already working on tralala2
I passed =)
much more work to be done?
