So far results from about 20 people say that they are getting max FPS out of their rigs Between 90-200Fps consistently

NEW Build - Removed 90% of the road network and tracks to prove the CBA/ACE issue. There will be future upgrades but bear with me. Its taken me 18+ hours to upload this update so it wont be a frequent thing.

@Madrat theres an issue caused by CBA. Its one of the reasons for releasing the ALPHA build of the map is to see if it affects everyone and to try and find a solution. Maybe the ACE teams can fix CBA who knows.

Anyone having issues with low FPS try closing the game and re-booting it to see if the issue is still present.

@Z0r0 for me nothing but our group doesnt use ACE or CBA. The problem seems to come and go depending on who you talk to.

if someone can let me know what is killing it i would appreciate it.

@ANZACSAS Steven there are some overlayed roads - you can see that from the RPT. But not enough to cause the reported drops. I've also tried it with no roads on it at all. Still drops the FPS the moment you load ACE and CBA. So the conclusion we came to was its their stuff causing it not the island itself.

Tried with CBA and Ace and can confirm those mods dont like it.Tried using a vast road system on the South Asia terrain and had very similar issues iirc.

Turned my mod set back on and there are no issues with FPS.Unable to reproduce the issue.

Ran the terrain on its own and it runs very good.Gonna see if i can track down the offending mod.

Are you running ACE and CBA by any chance?

From the Description:
"Some people have made comments about unplayable FPS drops with ACE/CBA. It works fine without them so its an ACE/CBA issue and not something I can fix."

Hi Rock, I really like your idea for the map! Definitely going to give it a trial. Things I already like:
1. A lot of open, uninhabited ground is a very good choice. There's more than enough maps for city fights already - especially large builded areas which I think don't quite fit in Arma small unit scale. In the real life a battalion would able to take only a minor village or a rather small town, not more.
2. More or less real 1:1 scale is top!
