@[RED] Valdor hey, when was the last time you played with the mod? If it was before 6.0 you could click the little arrow on unit cards to open the menu but CA removed this universal Upgrade UI in favour of a new one. Try left-clicking your current army or switching between armies until you see the Secrets of Nagash button in the army panel (where you also recruit new units or RoRs)

i dotn now why bot on my new fresh campaign on the latest patch the upgrade mecanincs dont work. The litle yellow dot is here but i cant open the tool and upgrade anything.

The ui button doesnt always show, a fix is to click the arrow button to change army and it will show again. Hope this helps

@Black Stabbath are you playing a modded faction? Also keep in mind that you can only open the upgrade Ui with the button in the army panel since 6.0. not by clicking on unit cards

@Kenjisas Only base vampire count units are covered. If new ones are added by the mod, they won't receive upgrades

Looks like i've found an issue. ForgeAgeddon - Custom Item Crafting, Banners & Followers caused game to crash after or around 10 turn

@Loki I can assure you that this mod does nothing specific at turn 10 at all.Sounds like a problem with a script heavy mod

Tried to load a previous turn save. Game crashed, tried few turns back and game started. Tried ending turn = game crashed even before 10 turn lol. It's probably not a mod fault but game itself. Finding similar issues in recent updates on reddit. Haven't played WH3 in a while and here we are

Crashes on turn 10 for some reason, tried twice with 2 camplaigns. Subbed to all mods also playing with SFO. This is really good mod too bad it's not working out for me :(

@attackmuffin a tomb kings mod is currently not planned since I usually play with the tomb kings extended mod which already adds some unit upgrades to their units

Just a note - the Sternsmen appear to be missing the 'certified imperial elite blades' upgrade option, compared to the regular graveguard.

@Mistersander1 unit mods require submods for their units receiving these upgrades. The base mod itself will not conflict with almost any unit mod, but also won't give any units upgrades that aren't from CA. Check Apex' Submod Hub if he included support for Extended Roster

I just checked it and Sartosa is getting the expected upgrades in my game. The only reason I see why they disappear for this specific faction in your game is because some mod replaces the standard VC units for sartosa with database copies for some reason

How would I check what else touches or replaces those unit keys and/or faction keys? I'll keep disabling mods until I find the culprit, it's confusing to me that it's happening at all when as far as I can tell none of what I have should be affecting that. @Phukface the other thing to check for is if any faction mods add their own modded resources for custom upgrades
If a faction mod adds resources and upgrades to a specific faction, any other faction of the same race which doesn't have access to that custom resource won't have any upgrades show.
Example Mixu's LL adds a custom resource and upgrades for Zufbar, however as the rest of the dwarf factions don't get access to that resource it stops any upgrades from showing. Even from other mods

@Phukface the only reason i can think of right now why upgrades aren't showing is that one mod replaces the units of the vampire counts with carbon copies that behave the same but have a different unit key. I can't really tell from the list which one it could be and I don't know why this would be necessary in first place. The unit keys and faction keys are the only vanilla records that my mods reference and if for some reason the units you recruit ingame have different keys, the upgrades wouldn't show up anymore

Here's the full list I pull from, I've confirmed all together that they work but I typically only run mods associated with the faction I plan on playing but lately it's just been a lot of testing to see why scrap upgrades aren't showing as normal lol

I have the expanded roster mods as well but I didn't figure that would affect it since it just adds in units
