The car was added as a bit of an afterthought really... I made the asset independantly andi figured i might as well put it there.

This map is populated with enemies as close to the original episode 2 level. No combine soldiers, just zombies. I will not be doing changes to a map remake just for the sake of doing changes.

Hell I already did too much by adding the reviver headcrab into the warehouse area.

I played both versions and this is an excellent map with nothing to fight! Just hordes of walkers to put down. If you populated it with combine soldiers it would instantly be a 5 star map! The bridge is amazing, I hoped there would be a requirement to cross back on the underside of it... Too bad you chose to move on from this map.. but thanks for making it :)

I absolutely LOVED this! For me, HL2 Ep 2 was the best HL game until Alyx, and the Freeman Pontifex chapter was one of its many high-points. You used great ingenuity to recreate some of the set pieces with the resources available. I don't mind admitting, it brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye to cross the bridge, see the portal storm, and finally stand on the Charger's running board. Thanks for a terrific piece of work!

 This was quite interesting. I almost aced the thing with zero damage, but had a blast doing it. The crawling areas were good. I enjoyed seeing the map laid out before me, even though I had to take the long way through a rat maze to get through it. The physics were fun to watch as the bridge shifted. I think I would have enjoyed some ant-lions in the muck river too.

The best part of about this map to me is that I played it on hard difficulty and it was fun to me, and everything felt very intuitive; so I'm going to use this map to entertain guests who have never played Alyx before on normal-level; and I think that they will really enjoy it too.

The only negative I see is that I don't like getting kicked out of the game to the menu screen. I want to see an ending of some sort to finalize the story.

Super fun to see how hl2 maps look like in hl:a. I played the older version of this map a while ago and it was fun revisiting it, great job

This is as solid as solid levels come, you did a great job with having the player traverse through environments and get into encounters. I didn't have any issues with framerate, but I did just restart my PC so I could of been lucky. For a level that only contains zombies, you did kind of have quite a lot of ammo/upgrades. Maybe tone it down a bit and give the player some more challenge (like, I didn't even need to use the assault rifle at all)

Played on a i7-8700, 16GB RAM, GTX1070 Ti with a Valve Index (90Hz refresh, Motion Smoothing on). Observations are as follows:

-Intermittent 'ghosting' of images as going throughout the level when smooth turning. Nothing that affects gameplay or game breaking, but I would pick up on this ghosting/microstutters here and there.

- The visuals do a solid job of providing an immersive playground with the appropriate mood when needed (e.g., the dark areas). A world worth exploring just for how it looks.

- The gameplay, however, does not keep up with the visuals (played on Normal difficulty). It was by no means bad, it was that the amount of ammo available, and the generally wide open spaces, provided little tension/excitement for myself.

An enjoyable level, visually arresting, that could use a boost in making the combat more engaging.

Great work with the updated visuals as opposed to the original version you made many moons ago. I do still experience noticeable performance issues, but not enough to take away from enjoyment of the experience. While I rated it the same as the older version, there are definitely solid improvements. My playthru here: https://youtu.be/v0GWIVkMm8s

Brilliant level, some great vistas and as Arokh said, some great scripted events.

Looks good - should make it so stepping into the car ends it.
Other than that - very nice
