Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of updates! Unfortunately I'm no longer able to continue work on my mods due to many life changes that have changed how I'll be moving forward. I may not keep my mods updated, so if anybody wishes to make updated versions or even work on the mods themselves you are more than welcome to; all I ask is that you credit my work and make sure I know about any updated projects.

I had a period of time in which I nearly lost my father and lost my oldest friend due to health issues, then I nearly died as well due to an unexpected heart problem. Since then I've entered into a relationship and made the decision to focus on improving my life, so I'll be entering College as a full time student and will no longer have the time to work on modding.

I want to thank each and every one of you for using my mods and for supporting my work! I greatly appreciate all of you and your support helped me through some rough times, it made a big difference in my life.

Unfortunately not, I'd have to add each new lord individually in order for them to work; I don't have the time for modding these days so I'm unable to do so currently.

What turn was the save on? If it was past a certain point it wouldn't work, as the script tells the game to give you the items in the first few turns of a campaign.

i did try it in one of my save and it didn't work. Either not save compatible or too outdated.

Kind of. It should be up to date and it should be working properly, but I'm not currently working on it. I started working full time with an actual job in addition to getting into 40K, so unfortunately I don't have very much free time nowadays which has put a hold on my modding work for the foreseeable future.

The crashing after the battle is a constant, even unmodded. I use yours and other similar mods interchangeably based on what works in order to overcome this, and thanks for the response I forgot I even commented lol

Hi there, sorry for the late response! Thank you for letting me know that the mod isn't working currently, I'll look into getting it fixed. For now, I'll update the mod tonight and that might fix the issues; however if it's causing crashes after quest battles rather than on startup, it's possible that CA might've changed how the system works. If that's the case I'll have to figure out what they've done and make the necessary adjustments, which might take some time.

I should also preface this with the fact that any time I finish a quest battle, win or lose, my game crashes, thus preventing me from getting quest items for my lords. Unfortunately it seems most if not all of these kinds of mods no longer work at the moment.

Doesn't seem to be working for me, just started a Morathi run after installing and activating this and on turn 13 at rank 11 I still don't have any of the quests, nor the quest items.

The battles still being given to players is intended, as some players like to fight them. The AI gets their items immediately because they don't actually fight their quest battles, they just get the items for free via a script at a predetermined turn.

Question: For me as player it did not unlock the Quest items but the quest BATTLES at turn 3. No problem for me as i fight them... but is this intended or does it just give the items to the AI?

In my experience it works perfectly with Mixu's mod! Legendary Lords retain their equipped items when they're confederated or otherwise recruited, so any lord that joins another faction should have their unique items.

I'm not sure if the AI can steal items from eachother or not though, I haven't seen any lords missing their sets so far but it could be possible.

So... this SHOULD work for Mixu's Legendary Lords too i gues?
So if they get there items early i get them with their items if i confederate them Electors... ?

As Hex said, Instant Quest Items is probably incompatible; it says in the description that missions never unlock so I think that's likely the cause of the conflict. As far as I'm aware of the AI needs to receive their quest for the script to work properly, that mod might remove the quest's activation parameters which would cause issues.

I'm less sure about Actually Auto Resolve All Quest Battles, I think that only affects the player because the AI doesn't actually fight a battle like we have to.

I'd suggest turning off those mods and starting a new campaign to see if that gives her the staff for you. If you have WeMod or Cheat Engine you can also turn on infinite movement points and check if the other Legendary Lords have their items, they're definitely getting them all over the map on my end. I do think I'll have to do some manual scripting for her other two items though, I figured that CA had every item in the script but it seems like they might've omitted some of them.

No she doesn't have her staff yet.

Also Ghost I'm not getting his quest items either.

I just ran a test and the mod definitely does work for the vast majority of Lords, but it seems like Khalida doesn't have entries in the table or the script for those items. Does she have The Venom Staff for you? That item does have an entry and she has that item on my end. I think I've discovered the issue though!

It's quite possible that CA didn't include the proper code for some of the items, which would prevent this mod from affecting them. All this mod does is change the present values to alter the turns that the quests are unlocked on, so if the items weren't included I'll need to track down the items in the data packfile and add them to the table and script manually. I'll work on trying to get all of her items to appear!

I don't think this is working - I'm on turn 13 and khalida only has the asp crown and the death mask.
