I'm enjoying the Copperhead, but there's an issue with AI crew members getting stuck in the nook below the door in the reactor room/rear ballast trying to repair the bottom discharge coil from the inside. The bottom discharge coil is inaccessible to the player from both inside and outside of the sub.

The issue can be reproduced by setting an ai crew member to repair electrical systems and then firing off the E.M.P. from the navigational terminal.

The solutions I found was to either move the bottom discharge coil one space to the right, making it accessible from outside the sub, or to make it invulnerable to all damage (invulnerability to EMP doesn't help). I'm not familiar with the sub editor at all, so there's probably a better solution.

I had not had issues with any other subs, but it could be a mod issue I suppose.
The AI would man the front gun and just stand there it was strange

The diamonback's front gun does not work with AI, no matter what you mount they just aim it and never fire.
Love these ships please fix :D

The diving suit locker closest to the deconstructer is hard to access. Often when clicking it, i just get into the inventory of an locker instead.

I've done the best I can with the AI, cramped spaces are always going to sticky for bots, I'm glad it's rare though!

I've had a few issues with AI getting stuck in the ballast tank at the rear, right next to the reactor, you then have to drag the AI to the main decks floor and they go on.
It is a relatively rare occurence though.

For the pump at the front under the nav terminal I've found that the power cable isn't connected on first spawn, otherwise haven't seen any problems if any since coming back and playing again. :spel2caver::spel2cavel:

Cut a hole in the roof on a new save it works perfectly fine now, wish I knew how to replace my existing coperhead in my existing save though.

Check again,This time I've made the pump accessible. It is working in vanilla testing, I cannot replicate this problem, are you using any mods?. Can someone also verify that the Diamondback is now appearing in shops for purchase.

Update there is a water pump in the front it is not working correctly. It is to far submerged in the floor.

It seems the front pump is just gone, I wonder what happened to it given that this is a single player campaign so its not like another player could have stolen it...

could be a problem witht he pump, make sure it's pumping out and repair all at the dock.
The diamondback should be available now, if someone can confirm.

@Falkner I completed the entire campaign a week ago with the Copperhead and I can confirm that the Diamondback is not available in any shop during the entire campaign, in all biomes, even having 100+ relationship with factions. Submarine shops are showing multiple pages offering mutliple subs, including others from other mods + the vanilla subs as well but the Diamondback does not appear ever.

i'll look into it, i know that diamondback's a tier 3 sub only available at tier 3 shipyards, but it'll be a while before i get that far into the campaign again

My favorite sub when going on Solo campaigns, perfect size, perfect distribution of space, bots operate very well on it, versatile sub and powerful when upgraded mid-late game.

@Falkner However seems like is no longer possible to buy the Diamondback anymore, it doesn't appear in the shop list. I remember months ago in my last Solo campaign (before the last 1.0 update dropped) how I was able to buy the Diamondback no problem or issue whatsoever back then, I wonder why it's no longer available on the shops... can be due the 1.0 latest changes?

Makes me really sad because this is my favorite sub on the entire Barotrauma workshop to go Solo Campaigns runs with bots, it is perfect size and perfect design, also bots are very competent in this sub and very easy to command.

Not sure if this is intentional, but I'm not able to buy the Diamondback at a station that sells T3 scout subs, unless its a different sub type I'm not sure how to go about fixing it

The BOT I.Q. nerf of 1.0 is causing me physical pain

I'll figure out something, even if it's another shelf for them to stand on. Hope you don't mind babysitting them with this small part for now..

I don't know if this is a problem on my side but AI bots seem to not be able to reach the ammo storage above the reactor so they get stuck on the reloading ammo task.

Shadowcasting searchlights used to eat so many cycles, dont know if they still do. i'll move the switch higher for you.

The bots AI are currently so broken with the V1.0 patch - they can barely walk. ;_; it's the worst I've seen them in 3 years of early access.
forums are promising a hotfix very soon. Hope you can manage until then.

It's a great lil ship tho max upgraded reaching insane speeds of +/-60 km/h and combatwise it can hold itself well enough. I like the multiple loaders especially as it lets me use multiple ammo types at the same time.

2 Issues one being a minor QoL where I keep hitting the light at the front gun periscope instead of the periscope itself and the other AI pathing issue with the aft ballast the bots get stuck time to time when trying to move left in the ballast. there's other spots they derp out like I've seen them run circles in the bridge but those resolve themselves eventually.

Per previous post: I've reduced the residual water level problem in front hull to 1%, - best i can do with current game version.

Euhm I somehow got knocked out of the sub front window when a hammerhead had slammed into me. I guess the chair needs a seatbelt? xD
