Re-installed the mod, it doesn't show up, I really enjoyed playing this mod for years and now this happens :(

Will you re-upload your Democratic Decay mod?.

Can you add manual download for this mod? Other ones of your mods would be great as well. The workshop doesnt download it properly

Unfortunately, it's currently unplayable without the Democratic Decay mod.

The DPRK is not evil

The people of North Korea liked Kim Il Sung and supported the Communists as the Communists helped liberate and modernized the country.

Peasants in South Korea were being murdered and oppressed by the U.S/Japanese ran South Korean Military regime, North Korea invaded to liberate those peasants.

North Korea won, the U.N got involved and killed 1/3rd of the Korean population while destroying 80%+ of North Korea's infrastructure.

North Korea rebuilt and was more successful than South Korea until the 1980's.

North Korea has been under the harshest economic and military pressure of any nation since the 1990's and it still maintains its independence and even makes huge laps for itself like nuclear power or building a modest tourism industry.

North Korea is an impressive nation that has been forced to be the way it is.

The DPRK is not evil. You must remember that their government came to power as a part of a popular revolution of people willing to lay their lives down for the collective benefit of their nation and future. Before the WPK, the nation was under Japanese occupation. The Koreans could not speak their own language, all resources were sent to Japan, it was prohibited for them to develop an independent heavy industry sector, et cetera. The revolutionaries believed in socialism and anti-imperialism and the people carry with them a similar revolutionary spirit to this day. To say that a whole country and people is evil because you disagree with their politics is a gross oversimplification and that way of thinking has led to horrible wars like the one in Viet Nam.

To everyone complaining that the mod doesn't work:
Get the Democratic Decay mod, then enable it.

If you don't own the Extremism DLC, you need it to play this mod.

When I have both Democratic Decay and Extremism installed, the mod works. Make sure both are enabled in Democracy 3. If that doesn't work, delete the Democracy 3 folder in "My Games" under your Documents folder. This'll reinstall your mods for you and hopefully fix your problems.

As said in the description, the title is sarcastic against George W. Bush's "Axis of Evil" concept.

I did a mod for Iran, because it is an important country in history, as well as today, with hope for democratic reform in the near future.

Iran is not on the Axis of Evil you have a very bad judgement on this country.

Labelling Iraq and Iran the axis of evil puts me off trying this out. Are you Jewish or just a hater?

I feel sorry for this but I editted north korea so that it no longer uses the democratic decay mod

@McGunner: He didn't mean any offense with "Axis of Evil." It was so named because former president George W. Bush described Iran, Iraq, and North Korea as "The Axis of Evil."

So quick question, is it possible to add policies from your other mods as starting policies? I know that the School Uniforms policy from the mod of the same name, and State Industrial Investment from Industrial Evolution, ought to be in there at game start if possible. I understand if it isn't though.

Oh! At the very least, North Korea should start with the Tourism Campaign policy activated and at maximum.

just an fyi i was not offended by the title in the comments i was just saying my family would find the choices you make as the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran rather interesting. I tried to transform it into a democratic socialist nation, but i ended up with a bullet to the brain, or worse.

Ok. I'm from "South Korea" and immediately felt offended by the title.
Despite what you might think from their names, South and North Korea are completely different countries.
Technically, we're still at war with the North since 1950 and refuse to be bound with them as the axis of evil.
Would much appreciate if you straighten that out.

I want to add, I enjoyed playing as my country thanks to your effort, and I don't necessary think you were unfair about the situation of the country as it was 20 years ago, nor do I think it such enchant name as Iran deserves such insult. It's just surprising to me how someone with, as far as I know, fair political perspective uses such an offensive and undeserved name.

I don't know about North Korea but I'm Iranian, when I was in my country I had steam, all my friends also had steam. But even if North Korea cannot have steam at all (which I assume you know something when you say that) there are North Koreans in US who have steam. I assure you at least 90% of 2k subs your mode has have a connection to one of these countries. I mean take a look at your comments. The ones that are not trying to get the mod to work are talking about this name (with different word choices!)

I know you are not paid for the mode so financial analysis may not be important, but even if you are looking for more publicity, think about who is your target audience. Would people who hate these countries want to play as them, or people who like them. Would you repel more people or attract them to your mode by using this name. I think the answer is obvious.

I don't think that many North Koreans have Steam.

I know the whole sarcasem thing, but does it have to be called that? I mean the main people who would search for this mode are people from these countries, and none of them would like this name!
