Haven't played in a few months sorry, will update it when I get a couple days free
Also cunning.for.everyone, but I think the old mod he had a separate mod.for.cunnimg because there was a conflict with disciplined, not sure if this is still true in wh3
1. The Master's optimal trait is "Spiteful" however, the mod is currently prioritizing "Disciplined"
2. In the Lord selection "Spiteful" is only populating in the lord with crossbow pool, not in any of the others, it would be preferable if the trait would populate in the caster lord pool
By the way, thanks for adding the Efficient Attaman trait to the list. I've just finished my second world conquest, and it was much more bearable this way. I still "had to" fire around a hundred non-efficient Attamans so if you ever decide to crank up the numbers on efficient ones I'm not going to complain :p
Thanks for the suggestion, I've made the change for you
I appreciate your feedback - I'll do some more play testing. From my current experience, the T1 seat that gives 6% replenishment along side the early Military tech that gives 5% replenishment is already ample. You get an additional 2-6% replenishment from the Lords blue line, depending if you want 3 points in Labour generation or 1 which you get between levels 3-5 which is incredibly early game. Add on Medicinal plants that then boost global replenishment you hit the cap within a settlement ridiculously quickly. I admit if you're replenishing outside of a settlement that's a different story but pretty rare you need that with how many strong Doomstacks the Chaos Dwarfs have access to
@Scr(A)tch
No sorry, it already dilutes the pool pretty extensively if more than one Generic trait is added to the game - Most factions have better stand alone traits if used as agents like The Empires Noble or any of the many -Leadership traits split between the various factions
On the flipside, I feel like Bilious reduces the chores in late game campaigns by giving you more replenishment and therefore the ability to auto-resolve more often. I think this reduces late game grind and can make late game more enjoyable.
Just my 2 cents though, Hubristic is not bad either.
Yeah, Hubristic is generally the best catch all trait for Chaos Dwarfs. Stacking ward save through items/tech/abilities has a compounding effect:
-If you have 0% damage resistance and get 5% ward save from this trait you reduce incoming damage by only 5% - 1000 health would be equivalent to 1050 in this scenario
-If you have 45% damage resistance and get 5% ward save from this trait it reduces incoming damage taken by 9% - 1000 health would be equivalent to 2000 in this scenario
-If you have 85% damage resistance and get 5% ward save from this trait it reduces incoming damage by 33% - 1000 health would be equivalent to 10,000 in this scenario
Ward Save/Physical Resistance/Missile Resistance and Spell Resistance are incredibly strong when stacked together!
Great write up, thanks for your input! Bilious was removed as it's not the best trait for end game. It is useful for early game but you only ever need 1, maybe 2 lords with that trait before it becomes redundant so you can easily Save/Load them into your campaign as required. I agree with you about Hateful though, have added that in to replace the Thirstful trait.
Melee attack/defence generally loses out to stacking defensive buffs like ward save
@Davai and Conquer!
Yes, if you edited the 'character_skills' table and made it 9999 you would almost always see it. Of note though; generally each type of lord/hero can have only 1 of each specific trait at a time recruitable
You're welcome! That would be out of my modding capabilities though sorry
Would love to see stubborn Bull Centaur Taur'ruk show up more
I've added Unearthly Reflexes for you
The most cost-effective late-game Empire doomstack that can consistently beat 4 armies at once is 4 Helstorms, 3 Helblasters, 6 Handgunners, Light Wiz, Life Wiz, General Lord for a strong flying combatant and 4 melee heroes to tank. Tough is the best trait for melee heroes here as their only job is to hold as long as possible for the ranged units to do the damage, and if the enemy manages to close in on your ranged you have already lost, no matter the marginal MA & LD upgrade from Disciplined.
Will reassess Chaos Dwarfs over the weekend when I get a chance, they already have so many great mods that if I keep giving increased weighting to them then 90% of their traits will basically never appear
Make sure everyone playing multiplayer has the mod downloaded and in the exact same load order. The mod is a simple numbers change in the PACK files, there is no associated script so there shouldn't be any reason why it is causing a desync for you
