I've seen that on other cosmetics a few times. It's mostly likely a server side issue, not the items themselves.

Im not sure if this a bug but whenever your character is moving the hat doesn't match the movement of your character there's a little delay in it

This is like middle of the road. Kinda doesn't the Art style of TF2.

I did made a second style the day it got added, I didn't made one before because of the whole specific neon color deal so wouldn't make sense to paint it, but since only the hat got added I made it, but unfortunately they still couldn't add it

Sadly Valve don't do that anymore. so there is no point asking for an alt style at this point.

If the hat wasn't accepted this year's halloween, Rapoza maybe would have had time to make an alt style.

It's a big enough deal that I've been in trade servers, and people won't budge on it because of the neon on it.

people that say this hat is bad dont have a taste i would actually liked to see the lunonifier in game but no, valves last 3 brain cells decided to add only the extra cosmetic that took the least time to make (they tought it would be silly)

Surprised at the amount of hate this is getting. I knew it would go well with a couple loadouts of mine, and overall very much enjoyed the Lunon project. It's a shame that this hat was the only thing that got in, but I immediately got a strange of it and threw it on my pyro and heavy! Love it!

I like the flickering but the hat itself is horrible

The texture is a bit flat, but it wasn't designed to be seen on it's own either.

Also @Babylon what you're saying might be true but this wasn't supposed to be the main focus anyway. As a standalone hat, it's not that impressive, but the real meat of the project was the weapon lights, which it would have gone with.

The hat is not that bad, but I'm really sad that only the hat got in, I feel kinda bad for Rapoza, it's like he did a wonderful painting and only the nail holding it into the wall got acknowledged and appreciated, I mean yeah, it's cool that the nail looks kinda fine and is hanging in there, but the whole wonderful painting is what actually matters.

Even though, I still hopeful that the lunon-a-ticator also will be added to the game someday. An idea so cool, well made and in point of just dragging into the game cannot just be ignored like this, come on Valve, think about the pool of money that new cosmetic would make to you, think Valve, think.

The hat is really growing on me. I love the festivizer idea. Would you consider adding a second style with paintable tubes? It would be a great change especially considering the pyro in chinatown cosmetic is paintable. I appreciate the hard work!

Why Valve why

i'm sure it would've required a couple hours of coding from them, which is too much work when they're too busy making steam money. god i hope valve lays off employees at some point, they're all just sitting around with their thumbs up their asses, except the hardware team who made the steam deck

valve really saw your work on modelling 100+ festivizers, tools, colors and crates and said "lets add the generic looking cosmetic hat and make it merc grade"

Definitely the weakest addition to the 2023 Halloween case in my opinion. Too bright, and it's basically just a random doo-dad slapped on the mercs head. I appreciate the effort and work done on his, but it's not good. Sorry, fren.

I can appreciate the effort that went into this "Lunon-ivizer" or whatever, but it's just really bulky and not pretty at all. The game doesn't need more flashing lights and bright colors, it's just becoming more to dogpile ontop of what's left of the artstyle of the game. I remember a time when there were no banana hoods..

The entire lunon thing was an incredibly cool and ambitious idea. Valve is to blame for being ignorant idiots and completely overlooking the intended purpose of why this hat was even made and just blindly adding it because they do not care about this game whatsoever.

there's over 1k cosmetics in the game, there's guaranteed to be fitting cosmetics
and again, the part that sucks about this hat is that they added it over the Lunon-A-Ticator, a new festivizer that this was intended to go along with as a bonus hat
