Didn't work for me. My game wouldn't even load, just the "black screen of death". Which forced me to exit the game by having to log out of Windows 10. I do not recommend this mod.

Is anyone else noticing that now the horizon appears and disappears almost once a second?

I have verified that deactivating the mod does not happen. It affects all states. It doesn't happen permanently. I would say it happens during sunrise. Thank you.

does not work with promods but after saying that my promods have stopped working on the final 1.49 update.........go figure

where should i put this in the mod order? it crashes the game as soon as i hit "continue game" no matter where i put it. could it be because im using an older version of promods?

Hey there, update for 1.49 includes ProMods Canada. I don't have the resources for extended testing now. Please report issue if you encounter any.

I really enjoy this mod. Thank you! As others have said, I like to see the environment and you can't see much of any of it at night. And depending on how you're playing and/or how your deliveries/ sleep schedule happen, you can end up spending a lot of time driving at night.

Yes I know, it's a little darker in some places, but it's more like late evening. It would be nice to ride at night but not in that dark and I don't understand why SCS doesn't fix this, it shouldn't be that difficult. I saw a post on the SCS forum about this, basically there is no way to make the nights brighter. So there are only two options: Lighter nights mod or wait 10 or 20 years and hope that maybe SCS will fix it.

@LonelyCat-Jango – I was looking for brighter nights at first, too. I can't remember why I dropped that idea. I haven't looked at the darker nights mod. Maybe there's a hint in the files about how to make nights less dark. – Depending on your position on the game map you will get some night time with this mod, too. More to the South, I think.

I confirm that the mod works perfectly with 1.47. If it doesn't work for someone, it means that the mods load order is incorrect. Plus, no conflict with custom map backgrounds. I use "Complete North America Map Background".

But I was to hurry a write that this is exactly what I was looking for. That's why need always read the description first :). So this mod is 24 hours sunrise and sunset.

I want to ask. Is it possible to make a mod that would make the nights brighter? I found a mod that makes the nights even darker, which is madness in my opinion. How can nights in ATS be too bright for someone :D.

@jhandkw – Just tried it. It works. The strength depends on your position on the map. That's a game limitation. To test it open the photo editor, and move the time of day slider as you like.

can confirm it conflicts with a map background mod im using (in that it rotates the world map), but other than that I like it

It's now optional in multiplayer (convoy). Haven't tested it in convoy. Please report your experience. In theorie I think you should all have the synced time, but only those with the mod enabled should get the re-calculated position of the sun.

works like a charm... driving at 3am for a delivery and its clear as if it was 230PM in the afternoon. Thank you for this mod, please continue to update as needed

How do I bring up the UI with the sliders to change night/day? When I'm in camera controls its completely different to that in the demo vid. I've enabled the mod. Any thoughts?

The more I drive with this mod, the more enjoy the map, it is awesome the effect of the light!

This could be an option inside Gameplay section, a new feature. Just give options and let players to choose the way they want to drive through the map.

@yainderidoo, yes, for this mod to work it needs to be on top. If it's below then you get the "default" nights, that is according to Weather 2.1 settings. Weather 2.1 includes the exact two files I use all will override all settings if placed above my mod.

I don't quite get what you mean regarding photo mode. I understand that Weather 2.1 comes with custom skyboxes. What happens if you slide the time of day?

Hi @mpie I Placed your Mod above the weather mod (now 2.1) and your mod works well (at night) but if I place it under the weather, then it's as dark as night can be. With your mod above, it works, but when in picture mode clicking the sun, I can only see some 80 + skies> It looks that the weather mod doesn't work in this order?

@yainderidoo, Weather 2.0 will override this mod. Personally I don't use it. Also I can't test all mod combinations. But since Weather 2.0 appears to be popular, I'm interested in your results. You can try and put this mod above Weather 2.0. Please share your experience!

I have 19 different map mods, tires, tractors, and your mod is not even my number 1 priority, but I only have it in 11th place. Sorry for my English, I'm from Slovakia

@PRmarvel87, yes, although the actual day length varies according to your position. Also, I have been able to optimize the ETS2 more, but still need to tweak the ATS version.
