Its cool and lots of thought behind its implementation but its a giant ass unusual that even blocks out the hat this is between making you easy to spot and hard to aim a headshot

Thanks for the feedback but we were a bit limited with what can be achieved with an effect such as this one. It is a bit complicated. Due to how the effect is designed, the intro needs to be this long (it's not a taunt effect so it should be fine). It is tilted because the effect is locked to the head and that's just how the engine locks it. It will follow the direction that the head is looking (one of the panels is even a crosshair). If this was changed to world space, the player's head/hat would more often clip through the panels if they were looking up or down and if I recall correctly, the effect itself (due to limitations) will not function correctly. As far as I can recall, this was the best approach.

I think the intro for the effect is way too long. It should also be tilted less, because most orbiting taunts are perpendicular to the head and look better that way.

Now THIS is a neat spinning symbol(s) effect.

The effect is adjustable such that it can fit over the eyes of the player, this is the effect at the lowest height: https://imgur.com/a/ufZ23Wx
