@macdaed Plans, yes, but there's no movement on it right now. It's easy to get a lot of big ideas, harder to make them all happen. I have been taking a break from WH and WH modding, it was taking up all my time and energy for a while so I decided to take a step back.

All that being said, I definitely will return to WH3 and modding in the future, just got other things going right now. It's one of those games it's hard not to come back to. Maybe after next DLC release?

any plans to make ka'bandha still? he's my favorite khorne character and if he's the same quality as this mod id be psyched to see him

@fredrowe234 Yeah, so it shouldn't really require updating since it's all just visual stuff. Unless there's some kind of change to file structure or something it should always be usable with new patches.

@marc.on.pluto514 Not planning on doing standalone for any of the units, but removing the other stuff is pretty easy with RPFM or Asset Editor if you wanted to remove everything else.

@Wardaddy I am glad you like the mod! I am not planning on doing another Chaos Lord, but there is an Exalted Hero in that style.

is it possible to change the animations on certain units? like putting the duel weapon boyar animations on the khone lord/hero? as well as certain Tzar guard animations on khone units? i ask this because i dislike the current, very outdated animations for chaos warriors.

@Ballagorn Might, but probably not. I'd guess if it's changing weapons it probably touches VMD. You might be able to find a way to merge them or something if you know how to work with VMDs.

@Mortarch Of Blood Thanks for the support. I actually reached out to the mod author that I think you are referring to and got perms, expect to see some cool updates very soon. Also, trying to make it easy for people to add capes back in.

First I wouldn't want to sub for that mod as it was to little, but now my biggest hope is that this mod will work with alternative weapon choise

There's a mod on the workshop that offers more variation on the heads for Khornate warriors, that you may be interested in seeing if you can use those assets in your mod btw.
Unless you're doing your own thing!

There's no harm in having no capes, this is YOUR vision for the faction and modders don't work for other people - we share our work, we don't get paid. Despite players thinking otherwise.

So keep it up dude.

Just wanted to clarify that this is still, more or less, a draft. I had a working version that I had made for myself and had been using, and decided I might as well put it up while I'm working on it. In case people liked what I was doing and wanted similar changes. I might, as it gets bigger, even separate out the different things (like no capes) into separate mods, but rn I just wanted to get it up in case people had an interest.

I'm also not trying to knock anyone for liking the capes, I just personally felt they seemed a little off for Khorne. The capes are really just a starting point.

Same. The capes are okay on the Lords and heros. But this creator DOES have the right idea. Khorne looks too "Uniform" when they should be MUCH more of a mish-mash of helms and armors. Some with the Khornate helm, some with a spikey/viking style helm and some with no helm at all.

I really dont think the ones who did Chaos at CA understand this faction. Hell, they took away manticores and Chaos dragons from marked Lords (which was fixed by the modder "Hel" thankfully) and didnt even give all of them their god-touched steeds. Khorne should NOT look like they were handed out matching uniforms. They should be a motley assortment of violent berzerkers.

I think HvunterVMLV DOES get this faction though, which is good. We need more people who do, to show CA how its done.
