The way emote layers work, the only way to give them expressive eyes like Gabriel has is to make -both- the masc and femme variants have faces, and every NPC would change to match.

I could see to making an addon for that at some point, but currently what little creative energy I can muster is going towards helping with the Shoggoth mod rework :SBmm:

Say is there a add-on that re-textures the female grunt to look more female/anime (A Cutebound add-on)? ^^;;
to kinda look like some of the MadCom oc's like PromPiriya BoonRat, TodPon, Velour, and Salterino's Liz?

also add a eye's option on scars to also get Gabrial Barsch and RavenTheLemon

The planet with the red sky in the screenshots is a Wasteland from Frackin' Universe. The colors of those worlds are randomized and I happened to hit the jackpot

does this have unique dialog when talking to NPCs?
im talking if I (playing as a Grunt) talk to a non-grunt NPC, will there be unique text dialog for what the NPC says, depending on if im a Grunt?

Same way you get any other racial tenant - with racial furniture.

Use weapon chests, wanted posters, etc and tiered metal furniture for a guard, cooking stuff for a chef, a desk for a regular merchant, and a combination of fighting and commerce stuff for a quartermaster.

If you aren't playing as a grunt or Employer, you need to get a MERC from the inventor's table to buy nevadean desks to get nevadean merchants.

Funnily enough, I actually looked at the Silent Shadows' species file to learn how the "customizeable eyes are the only glowing part" thing that Employers have going for them.

Ashspeaker's mod is an old favorite of mine, and I was the one who suggested the Resonance Chandelier :steamthumbsup:

There are a few types of colonists (Civilian, Merchant, Guard, Quartermaster, Hashslinger), but no hostiles just yet.

@Kinsect Nope. And considering the tier 8 layout is different from the vanilla Novakid ship, you couldn't just copy-paste some other layout without various issues arising. Anyone who wants to try and design tier 9 and 10 addons has my permission, though

It's the Ferozium armor for the two included races. If you aren't a Grunt or Employer, you'll need to wait till the 22nd to buy the pieces from a Quartermaster on tier 5 and 6 planets

You underestimate them, my dude. A hungry Grunt will happily, nay, -cheerfully- eat boiled shoes. And considering how mold is just a few steps from mushrooms, which are subjectively delicious...

They may actually really like Nakati, now that I think about it.

I think their attitude towards railguns is more along the lines of "ooh, good choice" than being particularly blown away. Remember, while those may be the ultimate in kinetic weaponry, they're essentially big magnetic slingshots.

As for the avali weaponry, the Nevadeans would be also baffled how sharp yet fragile aerogel is for edged weapons. They be impressed on their railgun technology being predominant within the avali arsenal.

Oh sick! I like that idea that the typical Nevadean often mockingly remarks on Avali tech, yet impressed and/or baffled on stuff like aerogel. I would also imagine the Avali species are perplexed upon first contact with the Nevadeans, mainly their anatomy. Likely won't be too pleased on being mocked, however.

And like many water based species, a Nevadean will comment on Avalonian alcoholic beverages being "windex".

I... have no idea. It's hard enough trying to come up with their opinions on stuff, considering almost none of these things have a canon equivalent in the source material, and I constantly doubt my ability to correctly gauge the average Grunt's reaction to things, despite having a strong understanding of MadCom lore and a similar sense of humor to Mr. Krinkels. That said...

They would probably be pleased to meet another short species, which makes Avali more approachable. They'd approve of all the bulletproof fabric, be nervous around so many magnets, and utterly baffled by the concept of aerogel - their homeworld runs on video game logic, so things couldn't be lightweight, strong, and cheap all at the same time.

In all, I think they'd mock how often the Avali show off with their holograms and standardized cybernetics, but hesitantly admit it's pretty far beyond anything they've seen before. I'll ask around and see what other people think and get back to you.

I quite entertained with the Nevadean scan descriptions on how wacky they can get. Though I'm curious how they'd comment on the avali and their objects? Ofc I can make a mod for that albeit it be tedious work, since I've done custom descriptions for Starbound before.

I CANNOT "just lift the Nexus Classic sprites", they are in a completely different art style, and I cannot make an entire planet with the necessary biomes, pools, encounters, terrain, celestial data, et cetera with my current amateur "skills" :mpn_san:

It'll be years before I can pull something like that off by my lonesome, so stick around I guess :mpn_abom::SBmm:

Anyhoo, have any of y'all heard? They're going to start pitching a Live-Action Madness movie to various studios this summer. :steamhappy: Here's to hoping we get a nice, fast-paced, self-contained story anyone can walk in and enjoy, like Oldboy or Nobody.
