I remember I was adventuring with a friends characters once, both straight males, and had an event happen where they both turned gay for each other. Was not expecting it.

oh whoops, I said I'd keep ya posted and forgot XD I updated it, though. And EXCITING NEWS: the creator of 10,000 Faces of Wildermyth sent me some files to work with to make it so the face parts generate for all genders!! I'm nearly done with it, so look forward to that :D

@Ligma 2022 noted, I'll get on that! Honestly part of why I'd lowered it was cause I wanted it to be more "widely accessible" but I'm kinda realizing how silly that was to pander to cis sensitivities in a mod about gender diversity :P Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep ya posted :D

@Virgo it's not about sensitivity, it's just that people like me rarely get to see ourselves in games, so I made this for myself and thought maybe others would like to use it too. And evidently, I was right :) As for the detail, I'm just having fun modding and learning what I'm able to do! Nonbinary people have existed for centuries upon centuries, we have a fascinating history if you're interested! The difference is that now it's being discussed in a widespread way in the Western world and more and more of us are able to understand why we feel the way we do.

Like I said in the description, I'm eternally grateful the devs included us! I'm not upset at all; I just wanted a mod where nbs can generate on their own & include NPCs.

Awesome mod! I was wondering if you could up the chances of rolling a character who's gender identity and physical body don't match? Something like 3 or 4 for the female / male ones and 16 or 17 for the non-binary ones seems like it would remain relatively balanced while also upping those rates a decent bit.

@Pasrtana wow, you've got good luck then! But I made this because there's a 0% chance for nonbinary characters, so I made a mod to include them in the generator. Characters being attracted to certain genders doesn't make them nonbinary

Funny seeing this, never thought it would be a problem. My characters never seem to come out straight lol

Updated for the new patch! I'll update the description soon, but now you can get gay/straight/bi characters in all genders and combos! :D And I fixed some stuff too so heck yeah

how did you figure out that only the first 6 items were being taken into consideration? like, were you able to confirm it thru the devs, or experimental evidence? i want to see if theres (another) workaround.

@Charlytical okay, I think I've figured it out! So the thing is with 10,000 faces of wildermyth, you'd have to go into that mod's files and personally change everything to generate for male & female characters, so in order for me to make this mod generate any of the base faces for all genders, it'd overlap with 10k faces by default. BUT if you'd like to use 10k faces along with Gender Rolls, and still want the base m/f head shapes to generate for everyone, you can just go into the gender rolls files (instructions in the desc), click the peopleParts folder, and delete all the files labelled with "face." Dunno why NBs are in the code to generate only female faces/head shapes but oh, well. I'm glad I found a workaround, though!

@charlytical Thanks for pointing that out! That's something I noticed recently as well, I don't know why it's programmed like that for nonbinary characters, but I did find a way to fix it! I don't know/think it'll work with other head shape mods, but I went into the files and made the base heads/some of the base faces generate for both male and female characters, and now it works! Added bonus of giving more variety to head shapes, especially for female characters, so that's nice to see. I'll update it for y'all soon :)

Hey, something I've noticed while using this mod is that all the generated nonbinary characters have feminine faces. Is this intentional? (I use 10,000 faces of wildermyth, if that matters)

Don't let some of the hostile awards get you down. This mod is fantastic for making a great game even more inclusive than it was before, and there are a lot of people that will appreciate it. Myself included :)
