Looks great, my personal opinion on it would be that having it spiral up just a tiny bit higher would take the effect to a whole new level.

i like the idea of the effect, though i recommend lowering the alpha of almost everything as its very bright. My other recommendation or personal preference would be to slow the effect down and the particles lifetime as a whole, that way you're able to appreciate the effect more. Otherwise, nice effect, good job!
