no. LAV-25 is a APC or an armored personal carrier, AFV = Armored fighting vehicle which technically every tank apc bla bla counts as but they each have their own designation like how a lav-25 is a APC the leopard 2 is a tank the puma is an IFV and the bradley is an IFV just because it is armored doesn't mean it's designation is always gonna be AFV

Im pretty sure AFV is an Armored Fighting Vehicle. So an LAV APC is an AFV, Bradley IFV is an AFV and a Leopard 2 Tank is an AFV.
So a Puma is an AFV, which dosen't mean it isn't an IFV.
I might be compleatly wrong
