love the mod, but can never find the archotech manipulator. can i ask about the possibility of a archotech garbage compatability?

Ok so if you dont have a hospital bed it straight up wont show, my hospital bed was put back to a normal bed and when that problem was solved it showed up in the drop down menu. Once that was solved and now having played with it a bit, I really enjoy this mod!! Thanks for the hard work!! <3

Hello I also am having a similar problem as Cubile Oddity, I cant even find the surgery to implant it on a pawn, is there a tech level required first?

@Cubile Oddity That sounds like another prosthetic's mod conflict or a mod that allows operations that change what is allowed to be installed, or another likely suspect is a mod that changes body parts, the core is an Implant so it shouldn't get removed by anything other than a bug or mod conflict, id start with trimming down mod list and testing.

weirdly i can't find the surgery to install the manipulationcore and when i reload my save the pawn who had it (thx to caracter editer) he looses the implant.

That was one of my first troubleshooting actions. Unless there was some update between now and the 5th, lol. I wouldn't stress too much on it because this mod's been around some time and no one else has reported it. XML extensions is just weird in that respect

@DigitalHare Try unsubing and resubing to my this mod, its extra odd because the default setting should be ranged if get some time ill have a look at the patch to see whats going on.

Because I can't just edit posts.. Forgot about that on Steam.. Removed /all/ mods other than Matter manipulator, Harmony and XML Extensions it goes melee only. Cannot say for sure what's going on there, A vanilla weapon does not suffer the same.
Going back and adding in other mod weapons to test..Vanilla weapons expanded retain ranged capabilities.
It's so strange, it's removing the ranged tag from the manipulators. Like, I'm not complaining. XML extensions is kind of.. Well, I've had problems with it in the past for other stuff, too. I cannot remember what but I have. Just letting you know there is a potential incompatibility.

@Casius I could not tell you at the moment, but perhaps it's the overall sum of my mods. The moment I add XML extensions the MM becomes a melee only weapon, completely removing ranged tag from the weapon and all. It's quite bizarre. Next time I open the game I'll strip down to MM and XML to double check it's not simply the straw that broke the camel's back,

I have another mod I want to use that uses XML extensions, but for some reason that XML extensions seems to make the matter manipulators melee only. Strange little quirk.

Imma be real, kindof looks a bit goofy when the matter manipulator is the size of somebody's torso, might look a bit better with a smaller model

@ZAX Im not sure what kind of mods you are using or if i made it too common but i can almost never find any, probably due to fsf complex loot which is a good mod to get, i dont know when i will be updating this as i am currently very busy but it should work fine for 1.5 as well, if i remember i will take a look at the loot commonality for the archotech version.

the archo one seems really common in the loot pool for complexes you might want to tone the amount of them showing up down

Hmm, I think the weapon part should be nerfed, it has a higher dps than a lot of guns.

@Bambaryła You might need to update that CE patch, as they're now a ranged weapon. Nuff's auto-patcher has them using "generic charged cartridge" which seems apropriate but... generic. :P

@SUIK IBUIK I do actually have the textures for the matter manipulator from starbound done in vanilla rimworld style and they look great, i might do a separate mod just for those or try and figure out how to do a mod menu to allow texture selection if thats possible
@Ros[É] It would be i guess but i specifically made them weigh next to nothing so its not such a burden to carry them around.
I havent decided where to take this to next but ill consider these ideas!

Since this mod is regarding a starbound inspired item (I miss the old texture tbh), I am very sure you are aware of frackin universe, in said mod there is an upgradeable version of the matter manipulator that instead hurts living matter. If we consider that a majority of the playerbase plays with that mod, I would say a weapon version would fit. Just something to add to the discussion.:SBmm:

I could have them be like jury rigged weapons that sacrifice their work boosts for damage but i dont know if it fits tbh
