The unit cards in the upgrade menu are bunched up and the available upgrade remains hidden behind other unit cards. Is it supposed to pop up on mouse-over? It's not doing it for me.

Just wanted to let you know I still can't upgrade regular artillery units (mortars to cannons, cannons to hellblaster/hellfire rockets). Mortars can only upgrade to a Bombard, cannons can only upgrade to light cannons. I don't think I'm running any major unit mods other than Empire's Heirs.

Make sure Steam actually, for sure, pushed the update to the main gote mod. With this last patch, I moved the keys for the main units for that huge Sigmars Heirs patch directly into gote, but all the other tables that activate the units are in the Sigmars Heirs submod. I did this so the upgrade paths for all those Sigmars Heirs mods are now contained HERE but are only active when you're running Sigmars Heirs and my submod. It's complicated, but if your main gote mod is up to date it shouldn't crash.

Hey bro, that sounds rather unlikely; AFAIK a mod like this shouldn't be able to cause a crash (it'll just not work instead) but I might be wrong. Plus Snek's update was very recent and I'm sure he tested it...

Did you test it with a minimal setup of just the required mods?

You should then add the info which units don't exist... The "certain" bit of "certain units" is exactly the info that modders will be interested in the most :)

for some reason, this version crashes the game because of certain units not existing. The warband ultimate and compilation works fine though

I'm running into the same issue where the upgrade paths for mortars and great cannons don't work. Not sure what's causing it, I tried enabling only these 3 mods. Both in the regular empire tab and in the GOTE tab I can't upgrade the mortars and cannons.

i found that the Guns of the empire mod and this mod seem to have a ui issue if your not aware, ive posted it in their comment section as well but it seems u cant upgrade from a mortar to a regular cannon or a RoR verision, same with the cannons

Would this mod be compatible with the Imperial Armory mod, which adds the unit upgrades to Empire and Guns of the Empire units with the submod?

Would units retain their previously given upgrades when using the warband mod to change them into different units, would the upgrades disappear, or would it just straightup break the game?

Unsub and resub to all mods involved here, so GOTE, this submod, and the Warbands mod. I played a bit in June and upgrades worked for me.

Does not appear to be working anymore. Vanilla handgunners can't be upgraded to GotE units regardless if the mod is active or not. Simply says that the unit can't be upgraded to any GotE unit. May be a broken upgrade linkage from recent GotE updates?

can this get like an update even if its just to remove this from the outdated list? this and the garrison mod seem to work fine? I'm trying to narrow down out of date mods.

"Do NOT try to use this with a different Warband mod for vanilla units because keys will conflict and break upgrade linkages. If there is a different Warband mods you want to use please link it an I can make a new submod for that."

Thank you for this mod! GotE really has spiced up my favorite faction. I agree with @BAGHolder on the rank requirements. By the time I have level 9 Ersatzsolder, I have much better options than the unit it can upgrade to. I usually end up disbanding Ersatzsolder and just recruiting something instead (I am playing Radious). If it was something like level 5 or 6, I think that would fit a lot better with the other rank ups. Again, thank you so much for your work on these mods and patches :heartpr:

Im confused about submod since the submod "GOTE No Units Caps" has to load before, this one you said after all.

For all three, GOTE and Warband can be in either order compared to each other, but this submod should come after both.

@Last of the Romans Assuming he correctly did the key setups for Radious that it took me a minute to get right, yes I think they would work together.

@Electrolf I have noticed that hitting upgrade snaps to my units tab but I don't know enough about UI to know what do do for that.

@BAGHolder I will revisit those values. I know that my mod units gain XP at a rapid rate, so between them need a bigger requirement and loss. And melee state troops I thought should also be a steeper cost and penalty for transforming so dramatically.

with "Warband Upgrade Extended (Allied Units)" the UI is harder to change between the subtrees, but that is a minor issue since I can just press on the unit and it changes the tree of upgrade to it :) I just want to say what can be improved, overall you doing an 10/10 job and your mod is one of the best.

yeah it seems to be "Immersive Bretonnia Upgrade" which makes it crash the game on startup! Without it it works :)

One minor thing: the rank requirement appears a bit high?
I feel rank 4-7 are the ideal spot (corresponding to city level 2-5);
otherwise it may take too long vs building recruiting, unless there are rank buff from skills.

The Warband mod linked as a requirement here is the ONLY Warband mod this submod would work with. If you can link the other Warband mod you're using, especially if it's a bigger one (Bagholder's was the only one I knew of) It should be no problem to make a submod that works for that.
